Sulligent, AL – Mrs. Sheila Besser Fine, age 72, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Monday, December 1st, 2014, in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama.

Visitation, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014 at the Norwood Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.  Graveside Service, Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014, at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  Rabbi Steven Lebow officiating.

Mrs. Fine was born September 13th, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois.  She was born to the late Robert and Ruth Kushner Besser, and the wife of Freddie I. Fine.  She had lived in the Sulligent area since 1964 and was a member of the Temple B’nai Israel.  She owned and operated Gankab Antiques, loved needle handwork and had a Master’s Degree in Library Science.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie I. Fine of Sulligent, AL.; 1 daughter, Abbe Fine of Tuscaloosa, AL.; 2 sons, Gregg Adam Fine of Sulligent, AL., and Aric ( Kim) Fine of Marietta, GA.; 2 grandchildren, Aleah Fine, and Braxton Fine; 2 sisters, Donna K. (Gerald ) Stone of Boynton Beach, FL., and Joann ( Randy) Hankins of Sulligent, AL.; and 2 brothers, Bren Besser, and Bruce Besser both of FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sulligent Community Library, 514 Elm St., Sulligent, AL., 35586.

Mr. Howard Royce Williams, age 69, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 15th, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Friday night, October 17th, 2014, at Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18th, 2014.  Bobby Duncan and Elvis Cochran officiating.  Burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Mr. Williams was born September 14th, 1945, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Haston and Freddie (née Williams) Williams.  He was retired.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Williams; children, Sandy Tucker and Chris Webb; grandchildren, Alex Cahoon, Skylar Cahoon, and McKinley Tucker; 3 great-grandchildren, Keagan Cahoon, Kyson Cahoon, and Anastyn Cahoon; 1 sister, Doris Nix; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by 1 son, Brett Williams; his parents, Haston and Freddie (née Williams) Williams; 1 grandson, Brandon Cahoon; and 1 brother, Troyce Williams.
