Carlous Wayne Graves, age 69, of Brilliant, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at his residence.

Cremation, with no services at this time.

Mr. Graves was born March 8, 1942, in Alabama, to Frank and Deliska Corkren Graves.  He was a Veteran and a Retired Truck driver.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Karla Cormier; 1 son, William Cormier; 1 sister, Pat Harkness; and 5 grandchildren.

Robert Eugene Newton, age 57, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama.

Mr. Newton was born August 8, 1954, in Jefferson County, Alabama, to Frank and Mattie Sue Morris Newton. He was a Department of Corrections Correctional Officer.

He is survived by his wife, Micki Newton; 2 sons, Chase Newton, and Zach Newton; his mother, Mattie Sue Morris Newton Herring; 3 sisters, Bessie, Deborah, and Marie; and 1 brother, Billy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Newton; and 1 brother, Wayne Newton.

William Martin “Bill” Chambers

William Martin “Bill” Chambers, age 69, of Phil Campbell, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Graveside service, 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Mars Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell, Alabama.

He was born March 3, 1942, to Johnny and Lula Chambers. He worked as a City Employee of Phil Campbell, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Frances Chambers; 3 children, Qua-sha Cooper, Tony (Sharon) Cole, April (Bobby) Wollenzien; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Kathy Berry; a special aunt, Clara Thomas; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lula Chambers; 1 daughter, Vicki Cole Galloway; 1 granddaughter, Amanda Galloway Crane; and 1 great-grandson, Christopher Hall Crane.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Lori Myers; 1 son, Wade Lovett; 1 brother, Ronnie (Rhonda) Lovett; 2 sisters, Shelia Lovett, and Dianne Williams; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Smith; 1 daughter, Leigha Jane Smith; her parents, James and Regina Barnett Culp; 1 sister, Amanda (T.J.) Reid; 3 brothers, James Wallace Culp, Josh (Kelly) Culp, and Brandon (Ashley) Culp; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
