Elouise Burgett Childers, age 85, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Sunset Manor in Guin, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2012, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 26th, 2012, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.  Jamie Jeffreys and Randy Wright officiating.  Burial in Shottsville Cemetery, Shottsville Community, Marion County, Alabama.

Ms. Childers was born November 16, 1926, in Franklin County, Alabama to the late Harrison and Audrey Williams Burgett.  She was a Homemaker.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Gail (Larry) Elrod, and Ann (Eddie) Stanford; 2 grandchildren, Jeff (Sharion) Warren, and Nathan (Erica) Warren; 4 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Nick, and Will Warren, and Hunter (Kalynn) Warren; 2 brothers, R.C. Burgett, and Wayne Burgett; 2 sisters, Fay Cason, and Jean Hadley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Audrey Williams Burgett; her husband, Dayton Childers; and 2 brothers, W.C. Burgett, and Bobby Burgett.
