Mrs. Bivie Howell Mann (February 29, 1916 – January 28, 2012)

Bivie Howell Mann, Brilliant, Alabama, age 95, of Brilliant, Alabama, (of the Bethel and Burleson Communities near Hwy. 278), passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012, at her residence.

Visitation, 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. until service time, Wednesday,  February 1, 2012, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel in Winfield, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel in Winfield, Alabama.  Charley Rawls and Steve Tidwell officiating.  Burial in the Mountain Home Cemetery near Bear Creek, Alabama.

She is survived by 7 children, Chris Vandermolen (and her late husband George), Jerri (Earl) Parker, Exie (Micky) Gerard, Joyce (Clark) Dekoeyer, Shirley (Roy) Dodd, and Carol (Terry) Rawls; 1 sister Erma Lee Dutton; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Morgan Mann; 1 great-grandson, Braden Waldrop; 3 brothers; and 9 sisters.
