Lillian Egger, age 92, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Generations in Vernon, Alabama.
Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the Otts Funeral Home, Sulligent, Alabama. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Otts Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Claude Hand officiating. Burial in Prospect Cemetery.
Ms. Egger was born December 20, 1919 in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Robert Lee and Verona Loggins Moore. She was a member of Prospect Primitive Baptist Church. Ms. Egger previously worked at McCoy Mfg. She enjoyed gardening and flowers, most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by 2 sons, Chester (Linda) Egger, Vernon, AL., and Roger (Carolyn) Egger, Sulligent, AL.; 2 daughters, Manda (Jay) Pennington, Vernon, AL., and Linda Egger Huguley, Vernon, AL.; 7 grandchildren, Robert (Jo) Pennington, Tammie Pennington, Beverly (Chip) Parsons, Dianne Jones, Misty (Terry) Woods, Johnathan (Heidi) Egger and Lisha (Riley) McDonald; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Verona Moore; her husband, Greely Redden Egger; 5 brothers, John Moore, Murry Moore, Paul Moore, Robert Moore and Earl Moore; and 6 sisters, Allie Eastman, Paralee Eastman, Maude Comer, Lucy Moore, Rose Murphy and Myrtle Dickerson.
