Mr. Billy H. Cantrell, age 75, Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, July 28th, 2012, at his residence.

Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29th, 2012, at the Hamilton Church of Christ in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 30th, 2012, at the Hamilton Church of Christ.  Burial in Antioch Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Mr. Cantrell was born July 1st, 1937, in Marion County, Alabama to the late Marvin Cantrell and Loma (Hall) Cantrell.

Mr. Cantrell is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jimmie Cantrell; 2 daughters, Angela (Joe) Bryowsky, and Krista (Mike) McClinton; 1 son, Timothy Cantrell; 2 grandsons, Christopher Gann, and Jonathan Cosby; 2 granddaughters, Scout & Steele McClinton; 1 sister, Jean (Jerry) Daniels; and 1 brother, Sam (Kaye) Cantrell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Cantrell, and his mother, Loma (Hall) Cantrell; and his sister, Bobbie (Joe) Walker.

Mr. William Merchant, age 45, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at his residence.

Graveside funeral service and burial, 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Crews Cemetery. Bro. William Kirkman officiating. The body was cremated and no public visitation held.

Mr. Merchant was born February 4, 1967 in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Anderson C. and Johnnie Cunningham Merchant. He was a graduate of Sulligent High School.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Robert (Susan) Merchant, Modesto, CA., and Tony Merchant, Sulligent, AL.; 2 sisters, Barbara (Ray) Stockman, Sulligent, AL., and Eunice (Tommy) Love, Amory, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson C. and Johnnie Merchant; and 1 sister, Rebecca Jones.

Mr. Young was born December 2nd, 1938, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Fred McKeiver and Jessie Lee Kellum Young.

He is survived by 1 brother, Lincoln “Ricky” Young; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnny Ruth Kennedy Young; his mother Jessie Lee Kellum Young; his father, Fred McKeiver Young; and 2 brothers, Lawrence Wesley (Mary Dale), and Berry Monroe Young.

Ms. McCarley was born July 6th, 1934, in Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama, to Dewey A. and Zonie Vell Frederick Hamrick.  She was married to L.C. McCarley.

She is survived by her children, Ronnie J. McCarley (Debra), and Rosa E. Foxworthy; grandchildren, Michael McCarley (Mary), and Robin Foxworthy (Kayla); great-grandchildren, Tori McCarley and Aiden Grissom; nieces, Angie McCann and Lisa Fowler; nephews, Jeff Jones, Johnny McCarley, and Donald McCarley.

He is survived by 1daughter, Doris Nix; 1 son, Howard (Beverly) Williams; 6 grandchildren, Tommy (Teresa) Nix, Timmy (Billie Jean) Nix, Cindy (Randall) Morris, Bryan Williams, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Stidham; and Sandy Tucker; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Ms. Webb was born May 1st, 1940, in Tremont, Mississippi to the late Porter and Essie Mae Wylie.

She is survived by children, Linda Gasaway Moore (Alan), Joan Gasaway Morrow (Tommy), Brenda Kay Gasaway Mills, Marty Edward Webb, Belinda Mae Webb Harrison (Ronnie), and Jesse Wayne Webb; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter and Essie Mae Wylie; her husband, Edward Turner Webb; 1 granddaughter, Chelsea Webb Hacker; and 1 sister, Sue Woods.

Clyde Hampton, age 82, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 17th, 2012 at Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama.

Mr. Hampton was born in Bear Creek ALabama June 23, 1930 to the late Earl and Delma Pike Hampton. Mr. Hampton has been known for appearing on local TV Station WMTY where he hosted and interviewed guests on his
noon-time show, “Clyde’s Corner”.

He is survived by 4 children, Dale (Danny) Alexander, Leslee (Gary) Chafee, Richard (Rori) Hampton, and Cynthia Hampton; 9 grandchildren, Leah & Rachel Craig, Kevin & Maggie Chafee, Taryn & Teague Hampton, Benjamin Alexander, Alisa Robinson, and Adam Alexander; 1 great-grandchild, Sydney Robinson; 4 siblings, Glynda (George) Jones, David (Toni) Hampton, Martha (Jim) Schuh, and Mary (Larry) Thrasher; and a host of nieces, nephews & special friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Liz” Goggans Hampton; and his parents, Earl & Delma Pike Hampton.

Mr. Presley was born December 29th, 1963, in Adrian, Michigan, to James and Gloria “Marie” Peterson Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Lora Gale Presley; 3 children, Janet Chereé Taylor, Shanna Leigh Taylor, James Aaron Taylor; his mother, Gloria “Marie” Peterson Taylor; his father, James Taylor; his grandmother, Veiler Peterson; sisters, Kimberly Ann Taylor Cochran, and Sandra Gail Taylor Keith; brothers, Steven Dwayne Taylor, and Anthony “Tony” Lee Taylor; 14 stepchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ms. Mills was born in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Douglas Rea and Leatrice Joy Lawler Ramsey.  She had resided in Albany, Georgia since she was a child except for the time she was employed at Roosevelt Warms Springs Institute for Rehabilitation in Warm Springs, Georgia.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by 1 sister, Joyce Rea (Jim) Bridges of Las Vegas, NV.; 3 brothers, Juston Rea, Ricky Rea, and David Rea, all of Hamilton, AL.; 3 nephews, James Bridges, Clint Bridges, and Jeff Bridges; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends, Becky Weaver, Julie Burnell, and Gene Corley, all of Albany, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Douglas Rea and Leatrice Joy Lawler Ramsey, two brothers, James Rea, and Jerry Rea.
