Ms. Fay Grace Williams Harris, age 84, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Monday, March 25th, 2013, at her residence.

Visitation, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26th, 2013, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton.  Burial in Nix Chapel Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Ms. Harris was born September 23rd, 1928, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Robert Delmar and Lillie ( née Williams) Williams.  She was a Homemaker.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Bronda (Ronald) Loveless, and Kimberly (Kerry) Rodgers; 2 sons, Ronald “Buster” (Linda) Harris, and Shane (Karen) Harris; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Delmar and Lillie Williams; her husband, S.T. Harris; 1 son, Robert A. Harris; 1 daughter, Barbara Cochran; and 1 grandson, Heath Loveless.

Ms. Edith Jean Smith Brown, age 87, (widow of the late Merlon Brown), passed away Wednesday, March 20th, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 23rd, 2013, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24th, 2013, at the Barnesville Freewill Baptist Church in the Barnesville Community, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama. Burial in Hamilton Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Ms. Brown was born April 23rd, 2013, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Pope L. and Nellie Ruth Hamilton “Doll” Smith. She was retired from Munsingwear, Inc. and was a Homemaker.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Glyndia (Tony) McAbee, and Elizabeth J. Fawcett; 1 son, David L. (Catharine) Brown; 4 grandchildren, Tracy, Gina, April, and Tony, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Claire, Austin, Ethan, Abby Grace, and Kyleigh; 2 sister-in-laws, Christene Brown, and Jean Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors, and especially her beloved church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlon Brown; her parents, Pope and Nellie Ruth “Doll” Smith; and 2 brothers, Jack Smith, and James Smith.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Barnesville Cemetery.

Mr. Ruble Lee Mills, age 71, of Vina, Shottsville Community, Alabama, formerly of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Sunday, March 17th, 2013, at the Red Bay Hospital in Red Bay, Alabama.

Visitation, 12:00 – 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 20th, 2013, at Shottsville Methodist Church.  Funeral service, 3:00 p.m., following visitation, at the church.  Buster Timmons, officiating.  Burial in Shottsville Cemetery with full military honors.

Mr. Mills was born August 16th, 1941, in Hamilton, Alabama, to the late David and Nettie Duncan Mills.  He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1961 and married LaVale Kennedy September 25th, 1965.  He served 38 years in the military and retired in 1998.  He was an avid “TIDE” fan.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, LaVale Kennedy Mills, Shottsville Community; 2 daughters, Michelle Lee Mills, Hamilton, AL., and Dawn Mills (Matt) Wilemon, Red Bay, AL.; 2 grandchildren, Anna Caroline Wilemon and Kennedy Lee Wilemon, both of Red Bay, AL.; 1 brother, Loy (Ann) Mills, Palmyra, MI.; 3 sisters, Lois Tyree, Brilliant, AL., Louise Norris, Hamilton, AL., and Jean McCarley, Hamilton, AL.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Alexander Woods, age 73, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Monday, March 11th, 2013, at Shadescrest Health Center in Jasper, Alabama.

Mr. Woods was born March 6th, 1940 to the late Clyde and Selma Wallace Woods. He attended school in Lamar County, Alabama. At an early age, Alexander gave his life to God at Roxana Baptist Church.

He is survived by 3 brothers, Milton Woods, Richard Woods, Terry (Callie) Woods; 2 sisters, Mary Mae Woods, and Shirley Woods; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Selma (née Wallace) Woods; 3 brothers, Willie Jean Woods, Willie T. Woods and Rufus Woods; and 1 sister, Louise Frank.
