Bon Secour, AL – Ms. Kathleen McKay Dillon, age 77, of Bon Secour, Alabama, formerly of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Sunday, July 27th, 2014.

Graveside service, 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 31st, 2014, at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.

She was an avid collector and dealer of antiques and collectables, a birding enthusiast, and loved gardening.  She was an animal lover, both domestic and wild, and was a supporter of the Alabama Wildlife Center.  She was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Hamilton, Alabama and Massey Business College.  She worked for Service Bureau Corp. and Innovative Underwriters.  She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1955 and was homecoming queen her senior year.

She is survived by her husband, John Wager Dillon Jr. of Bon Secour, AL.; 1 daughter, Jan Dillon of Bon Secour, AL.; and a brother, Doug McKay of Valley, AL.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Sally McKay Dillon; 1 brother, Kermit McKay; and her  her parents, Almon Vernon McKay and Ozie Young McKay from Hamilton.

The family asks that donations be made to the Alabama Wildlife Center.

Mr. Barnes was born May 5th, 1940 in Glen Allen, Alabama to the late Purvy Ashmore and Audie Lou Green Barnes. He had lived in Guin most of his life, he was a member of the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church and had retired after working 32 years for the 3M Company.  He was also an avid hunter and a member of the B & B Hunting Club.*

He is survived by his wife, Carole Ann Dykes Barnes, Guin, AL.; 1 daughter, Deborah Tucker, Guin, AL.; 2 sons, Perry (Josephine) Barnes, Guin, AL., and Purvy (Vivian) Barnes, Lynn, AL.; 5 grandchildren, Georgianna K. Barnes, Justin Nathaniel Barnes, Kelsey Nicole Barnes, Kayla Matychowiak and Jariat Langston; 1 sister, Faye (Paul) Hunsinger, Guin,. AL.; and 4 brothers, Clinton (Imogene) Barnes, Twin, AL., Clayton (Linda) Barnes, Guin, AL., Roy Harold Barnes, Carbon Hill, AL., and Freddy Barnes, Guin, AL.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cecil Barker, age 80, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield. Funeral arrangements are Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Delton Harrison officiating with burial in the Macedonia Cemetery in Sulligent, AL. Visitation will be Friday, July 18, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Otts Funeral Home.

Pallbearers: Josh Wright, Kenneth Gant, Marcus Carroll, John Wright, Clifford Gant and Houston Wright.

Cecil was born October 2, 1933 in Moultrie, GA to the late Samuel Walter and Christine Taylor Barker. He attended school in Moultrie, GA and was a Rt. Truck Driver for Delton Harrison Logging Inc. and Bobby Harrison Trucking. He enjoyed fishing and watching westerns, particularly John Wayne. He was a Baptist in belief.
