Hamilton, AL – Ms. Pamela June Ballard Clark, age 69, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 29th, 2015, at her residence.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 01, 2015, 12-2:00 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00p.m. with Bro. Glenn Boman officiating. Burial will be in Kingsville Cemetery.

Pamela June Ballard Clark was born in Hamilton Alabama July 26th, 1945, to John Coy Ballard and Alma Hawkins Ballard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Clark; parents, John Coy Ballard and Alma Hawkins Clark.

She is survived by her children, Kerry (Teresa) Clark, Scott (Tina) Clark, Shae Clark (Jeff) Umfress; grandchildren, Garrett Clark, Jake Riley Umfress, Brody Clark, Brianne Kelly, Alaina Kelly; sibling, Patricia Armstrong; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Hamilton, AL – Mr. Fred J. Bayrd, age 70, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, January 29th, 2015, at Baptist Princeton Hospital.

Visitation, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31st, 2015, at the Marion County Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Following visitation, at the funeral home chapel. Bro. Marshall Green officiating. Burial in Cooper Cemetery.

Fred was born in Franklin County Alabama to the late Charlie & Lula Keller Bayrd.

He is survived by 1 son, James Bayrd; 1 daughter, Kristy Bayrd; 1 granddaughter, Keisha Bryant; 1 grandson, Dase Gardner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Brown Bayrd; 2 brothers, Vester Keller, and Clarence Bayrd; 4 sisters, Polly Colburn, Hazel Bowling, Josie Scott, and Willodean Cantrell.

Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.

Lois Dyar Clement
(August 21, 1926 – January 27, 2015)

Funeral Services, officiated by Rev. Eddie Davidson, are to be held Friday, January 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with open visitation at 10:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church.  Burial will be alongside her husband at Shiloh Cemetery.

LOIS DYAR CLEMENT, age 88, of Hamilton, Alabama passed away January 27, 2015.  She was born August 21, 1926, Lois Ann Dyar to the late Robert and Myrtle Dyar in the Shiloh Community of Hamilton, Alabama.

She graduated Hamilton High School in 1944.  Mrs. Clement worked with Selective Service during World War II.  Following the end of World War II, she married her husband of 63 years the late Elbert Lee Clement February 15, 1946.  In later years she worked in the office of the late Joe B. Holley – Judge of Probate – Marion County, AL, served on the Board of Registrars for Marion County and as Judicial Assistant to the late Hon. Carlton W. Mayhall, Jr., Circuit Judge – 25th Judicial Circuit of Alabama until her retirement in 1994.  She was active in civic Clubs and was a member of Hamilton First Baptist Church.  She devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren, helping others and serving her community.  Everyone who knew her was blessed by her sweet spirit, kind words and gentle smile.

Survivors include; daughter, Vivian C. Sullenberger of Cairo, Georgia; son, Brent Lee Clement of Russellville, Alabama; daughter, Andrea C. Harbison of Hamilton, Alabama; grandchildren: Kent Eric Wiginton, Kyle Evan Wiginton, Keri Elise Wiginton, Ashley Nichole Clement Timmons, Kelly Marie Clement Vincent, James Ethan Harbison, Anna Lee Harbison, Sarah Lynn Harbison;  great-grandchildren, Ella Claire Wiginton, Lily Kate Wiginton, Eric Lee Wiginton, Conner Brett Vincent and Linlee Marie Vincent;  and sister Carolyn Dyar, Hamilton, Alabama.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Linda Holcomb Clement and her siblings, Stella Kelly, Inez Williams, Woodrow Dyar and Douglas Dyar.

Vernon, AL – Ms. Anna Frances Sneed, age 74, of Vernon, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, January 21st, 2015, in Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 30th, 2015, at the Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.  Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31st, at the Westside Church of Christ, Vernon, Alabama.  The body to lie-in-state at the church 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to service.  Rev. Delmar Garrison officiating.

Pallbearers: Venson Sneed, George Sneed, Eric Hudson, Glenn Owens, Jerome Coleman and Robert Shelly. Honorary pallbearers: Paul Ray Agnew, Tierre Agnew, Bobby Len Sneed, Johnny Mack Sneed, O’Neal Hollis and Troy Lee Hollis.

On February 28, 1940, in Guin, Alabama, Anna Frances Swanigan was born to the late Joe Robert and Selma Hamm Swanigan.  She grew up and moved to Florida where she worked in Citrus.  After returning to her home state, she worked as a homemaker, as a custodian for the City of Vernon, and served on the Kitchen Committee for Outreach Ministry at her church.  Anna was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Vernon.

She is survived by: sons: Johnny Otis Sneed, Gifford, FL., Johnny Mack Sneed, Memphis, TN., George Junior Sneed, Vernon, AL., Bobby Len (Regina) Sneed, Gifford, FL., Ricky Benard Sneed, Vernon, AL., daughters: Anita (Delmar) Garrison, Vernon, AL., Barbara (James) Shanklin, Caledonia, MS., Sharon Hudson, Vernon, AL., Patricia Williams, Columbus, MS.; sisters: Lurlean (Dilmus) Agnew, Fayette, AL., Ruby Lee Moore, Winfield, AL.; 24 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Joe Robert and Selma Swanigan; brothers: Joe Roberts Swanigan, Jr. and Leeburn Swanigan; sisters: Emmaline Shelly, Julie Dean Swanigan and JoAnn Swanigan.*
