Memphis, TN – Mr. Timothy Garrison, age 56, of Memphis, Tennessee. passed away Sunday, August 30th, 2015, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Visitation, Thursday, September 3rd, 2015, at the Marion County Funeral Home.  Funeral service, 4:00 p.m., in the Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Bill Rayburn officiating.  Burial in Union Hill Cemetery, Hackleburg, Alabama.
Mr. Garrison was born January 26th, 1959, in Memphis, Tennessee, to Edgar William and Ruby Rayburn Garrison.
He is survived by 1 sister, Sharon Garrison, Memphis, TN.; 1 niece, Jessica Lynne Austin; and a host of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar William and Ruby Rayburn Garrison.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.

Hamilton, AL – Mr. Paul Franklin Blevins, Jr., age 64, passed away August 24th, 2015.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday September 5th, 2015, at the Pentecostals of Hamilton Church in Hamilton, Alabama.

He is survived by his children, Paul Blevins, III, Amaris (Ricardo) Sanchez, Joseph (Amanda) Blevins, and Jennifer Dawson; 5 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 2 sisters, Paulette (Bobby) Thomas, and Cathy (Mack) Morris; 1 brother, Edward (Debbie) Blevins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 1 son, Paul Christopher Blevins; his parents, Paul Franklin Blevins, Sr. and Joyce Faye Blevins; and 1 sister, Debbie Tidwell.

Visitation, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 31st, 2015, at Mt. Hope Church.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Monday, following visitation, at the church.  Terry Parrish officiating.  Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Marion County, Alabama.

Ms. Tittle was born November 30th, 1940, in Missouri, to the late Newell Yielding and Louise Terry Yielding.

She is survived by her children, Sheila (Curtis) Rivers, David (Karen) Brown, and Sammy (Annie) Brown; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 son-in-law, Bob Farrell; 2 sisters, Elouise McCarley, and Linda Upton; and 1 brother, Gary Don Yielding; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Newell and Louise Terry Yielding; 1 daughter, Donna Farrell; and 2 brothers, Herman Yielding, and Kenneth Yielding.

Ms. Raburn was born December 7th, 1946, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Leburn L. Jackson and Beatrice Jaggers Jackson.

She is survived by 1 son, Donnie Hugh Raburn; 1 daughter-in-law, Karie Raburn; 1 brother, Bobby (Sandy) Jackson; 1 grandson, Brayden Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Don Raburn; her parents, Leburn L. and Beatrice Jaggers Jackson; and 2 brothers, Billy Jackson, and Jimmy Jackson.

Hamilton, AL – Ms. Liza Bates McCray, age 87, of Hamilton, Alabama passed away Monday, August 24th, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

Visitation, Thursday, August 27th, 2015 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Marion County Funeral Home.  Funeral service, Friday, August 28th, 2015 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Bro. Israel Price, Bro. J.R. Bates and Bro. Willard Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in Hamilton Memory Gardens.  Pall Bearers, Larry McCray, Timothy McCray, Alan Hyde, Aaron Blackwelder, Larry McCray, Jr. and Joseph McCray.

Ms. McCray was born April 17th, 1928, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, to Gardner and Lula Bates.  She married Watson McCray on December 13th, 1949 in Kentucky.  She started teaching at 17 years of age in Dry Fork Kentucky.  She also taught many years in Michigan and Alabama,  She was an active member in her church, teaching Sunday School for forty plus years.  She was an active member of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Watson McCray; 3 children, Larry (Chris) McCray, MN., Venida (Alan) Hyde, N.C., and Timothy (Kelly) McCray, AL.; 8 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Janice Powers KY., and Patty Tibbetts, FL.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.*

Sulligent, AL – Mr. J.C. “Jake” Hawkins, age 73, of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama.

Edward Puckett and Bro. B.J. Mills officiating.  Burial in Pickle Cemetery, Sipsey Fork, Monroe County, Mississippi.

Jake was born October 24th, 1941, in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Clarence “Driver” and Effie Pickle Hawkins.  He was of the Baptist faith.  Jake previously worked for Walker Manufacturing and also worked and retired from the Lamar County Commission.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his son, James (Rainey) Hawkins, Sulligent, AL.; daughters, Janice (Raymond) Spence, Beaverton, AL., and Patricia Lopez, Lillington, N.C.; grandchildren, Bryan (Jessy) Woods, Heather Spence, Jessie Hawkins, Austin Hawkins, Alicia Hawkins, and Charles Hawkins; brothers, Dennis (Grace) Hawkins, Sulligent, AL., and Bobby Hawkins, Sulligent, AL.; sister, Annie Lou Knight, Guin, AL.
