Hamilton, AL – Ms. Eudora Cole Rea Colburn, age 94, passed away Tuesday, September 29th, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama.

Visitation, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1st, 2015, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 3:00 p.m., following visitation, at the Hamilton Funeral Home.  Burial in Antioch Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Ms. Colburn is survived by 1 daughter, Kathy Rea (Randy) Pickard; ; 3 sons, Jimmy (Jennifer) Rea, Arthur (Betty) Rea, and Jerry Rea; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eura Mae Mitchell, and Earlene (Jimmy) Seals; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Arthur Parrish Rea, and Tumer Colburn; her parents, Earl and Oma Cole; 1 son: James Rea; 1 sister, Verla Mae Carter; 3 brothers; and sister-in-law, Brenda Rea.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Angela “Angie” Baker King; 3 sons, Hughey King, Aaron King, and Brandon King; 1 step-daughter, Brittany (Matthew) Pace; 1 grandson, Dawson Pace; and 1 brother, Carlton King.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Pauline King; and 1 brother, Kenneth King.

Graveside funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 28th, 2015, at Myers Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.  Burial in Myers Hill Cemetery, Highway 278 near Natural Bridge Alabama.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Felicia (Anthony) Self, Theresa Thompson, and Audrey Jo Harris; 5 grandchildren, Micah (Erin) Thompson, Kyle (Carrie) Self, Janella Richardson, Rece (Leigh) Davis and Tiffany (Jason) Norris; and 17 great-great grandchildren; Special Family and Friends, Shanna Smith Self Madden (Danny), and Bill Rawls; Asera Care, Stephanie, Shana, Cassandra, Sherry, Susan, and Other Staff; Masonic Lodge 344, and Shriners Scottish Right; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by wives, Betty Jo Postell Harris, and Rosa Mae Steele Harris; parents, Johnnie and Ida Pearl Harris; grandson, Joseph Self; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; and Jerry and Janice Davis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cancer Unit.

Hamilton, AL – Mr. Lowell Dow Gann, age 88, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Sunday morning, September 20th, 2015, at Generations of Red Bay in Red Bay, Alabama.

Tentative arrangements are:
Visitation:  6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening, September 21st, 2015, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.
Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 22nd, 2015, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Jeff Fleming officiating.
Burial:  Hamilton Memory Gardens, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Lowell Dow Gann was born May 28th, 1927, in Bexar, Marion County, Alabama, to the late William Hiram “Harm” and Mary Elizabeth “Lizzie” Shotts Gann.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, 8 months, and 25 days, Willene Byrd Gann; 4 sons, William Dow (Peggy) Gann, Roger (Julie) Gann, Don Gann (Judy Webb Mays), and Gary (Jacqueline) Gann; grandchildren, Eric Gann, Erin Gann, Jeff Gann, Kerry Gann McGinn, Christina Gann, Jennifer Gann Hawkins, Matthew Gann, and Elizabeth Gann; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Olen (Jean) Gann, and sister-in-law, Jane Gann; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hiram “Harm” and Mary Elizabeth “Lizzie” Shotts Gann; 4 brothers and (sisters-in-law), Carroll (Mary Ellen) Gann, Pride Napoleon Gann, Prince H. (Maxine) Gann, and Bobby Shotts (Wynell) Gann; and 2 sisters and (brothers-in-law), Cola Louiseania “Coley” Gann (“Coot”) Nix, and Corinne Gann (Richard) McKinney; and several nieces and nephews.
