Hamilton, AL – Mr. Harley Clinton “Clint” Cochran of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Monday, April 4th, 2016, at his residence.

Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7th, 2016, at the Hamilton Freewill Baptist Church in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 8th, 2016, at the Hamilton Freewill Baptist Church.  Burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Clint was born July 10th, 1931, in Franklin County, Alabama, to the late Joseph and Sexton Smith Cochran.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Annette Cochran; children, Jeff (Debbie) Cochran, Lisa (Jeff) Halcomb, and Terry (Alicia) Cochran; grandchildren, Erica (Chad) Herring, Tracy Cochran, Amanda Halcomb, Katie Cochran, Jessie Halcomb, Kellee Cochran, Shelby Halcomb, and Zach Cochran; great-granddaughter, Lily Cochran; sister-in-law, Lois Cochran; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cochran and Sexton Smith Cochran; brothers, W.C. Cochran, and Robert Cochran; sisters, Eula Dean Cochran Boyett, Evelyn Cochran Williams, and Margaret Cochran Snyder.

Hamilton, AL – Mr. Joseph Benton “JB” Higgins, age 68, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday, April 1st, 2016, at his residence.

Visitation, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday evening, April 2nd, 2016, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 at the funeral home chapel.  Carl Estes, Muriel Floyd and Tim Winters officiating.  Burial in  Love Joy Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama. “JB” was born January 25th, 1948 in Tremont, Itawamba County, Mississippi, to the late Dossie Doyal Higgins and Lether Mae Upton Higgins.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Jean Higgins; children, Jamy Fowler, Katie (Joey) McKnight, and Emily Fowler; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Doyal Higgans, Thomas (Betty) Higgins, and Jerry Higgins; sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Hood and Betty Faye (Brian) Stanford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dossie Doyal and Lether Mae Upton Higgins.
