Woodville, AL – Ms. Shirley Ann Smith Johnson, age 75, of Woodville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, May 26th, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday, May 28th, 2016 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral Service, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 29th, 2016, at the funeral home chapel.  Burial in Hamilton Memory Gardens in Hamilton, Alabama.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Alma Smith.

One of which was “Fingers & Wings” on Highway 17 near the Journal Record.  I worked with Shirley when she ran the “Bama Oil” station in Weston (a/k/a “The Red Ace”). Hamilton, AL – Mr. Delmer Earnest Knight, age 88, of  Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, May 26th, 2016, at his residence.

Visitation, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 28th, 2016, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service, 12:30 p.m., Saturday, following visitation, at the funeral home chapel. Ritchie Emerson officiating.  Burial in Hamilton Memory Gardens, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Mr. Knight was born July 5th, 1927 in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Wiley Cornelius and Flora Boyett Knight.

He is survived by his children, Kendle (Lynn) Knight, and Bruce (Jane) Knight; grandchildren, Kres Knight, Monica Knight (Keith) Clark, Jeff Knight, and Leah Knight; great-grandchildren, Decklyn Knight, Larah Knight, and Evan, Nicholas, and Kendle Clark; and sister, Ruby Knight (Jim) Minor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Knight; his parents, W.C. And Flora Knight; and brothers, Henry Knight, Coy Knight, Gordon Knight, Floyd Knight, and Fred Knight.
