Mr. Ridings is survived by his daughters, Wanda Ridings Elrod, Kathy Ridings Johnson and Sharon Ridings Britnell; grandchildren, Christopher Schonter, Cindy Schonter, Chadwick Johnson, Joshua Britnell and Dustin Britnell; great-grandchildren, Holland Johnson and Brookelynn Britnell.

Ms. Swinney was born April 8th, 1971 in Marion County, Alabama, to Wesley Nichols and the late Carolyn Roberts Nichols.

She is survived by her husband, Shane Swinney; sons, Ryan and Tanner Swinney; father, Wesley (Barbara) Nichols; brother, Wade Nichols; sisters, Angie Nichols and Bridget Godsey; mother-in-law, Diane Swinney; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Roberts Nichols; and father-in-law, Tommy Swinney.

Ms. Collier was born January 28th, 1950, in Winston County, Alabama, to the late Luke Virgil and Iva Lee Purser Collier.

She is survived by her brother, Don (Judy) Collier; 2 sisters, Pat Watts, and Ileene (Ben) Spencer; and a host of nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by, her parents, Luke Virgil and Iva Lee Purser Collier; and 2 sisters, Jo Ann and Mildred.

He is survived by his parents, Harry and Sheila Petree Williams; wife, Dara Williams; children, Maddie, Drew, and Mason; brothers, Joseph “Jo” Williams (Courtney), and Jeff Miles; his grandmother, Verna Williams; nephews, Dillion, Braxton, and Chase.

Earl Taylor was a 1973 graduate of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Alabama and he attended the Northwest Alabama Technical College in Hamilton, Alabama.

Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Pamela “Pam” Taylor; his mother, Lenora “Tootsie” Taylor; children, Shannon Sims (David), Jason Taylor (Stephanie), Brandy Duck (fiancé, Wesley McCutcheon), Landon Taylor, and Micah Taylor; grandchildren, Cody McCullar (Kellie), Kyle Sims, Ally Taylor, Kade Sims, Brady Taylor, Brodie Taylor, Drake Sims, and Dustin English; great-grandchild, Korben McCullar; sisters, Gail (Randle) Mills, and Phyllis Taylor; brother, Ronnie (Rita) Taylor; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Vernon, AL – usvetflagMr. Phillip Ray Wright, age 90 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Mr. Wright was born August 6, 1926, in Marion Co., AL, to the late Henry Ferris and Alma Elizabeth Wright. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in Europe during World War II. Mr. Wright taught for over 30 years and was principal at Hamilton and Vernon. He also ran a Ben Franklin Store for eleven years. Mr. Wright was an avid coon hunter and loved his grandchildren, great-children, his hound dogs, and his horses. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and talking about coon hunting.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Victor Wright and Lemuel Wright; and four sisters, Deamie Green, Sybil Mixon, Ozell Cannerday, and Drew Holloway.

Graveside services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 at Lamar Memory Gardens with David Sullivan and Jammie Turner officiating.

Active pallbearers will be John David Robertson, Stoney Price, Jimmy Hollis, Ken Hopper, David Crosby, and Brandon Speck. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Northam, Adam Swander, Dan Swander, and Jody Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Wright of Vernon, AL; two sons, Randy (Kathy) Wright of Decatur, AL and Kevin Wright of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Renee Wright of Vernon, AL; one brother, Jack Wright of Montgomery, AL; one sister, Jessie Neal of Texas; five grandchildren, Chad Wright, Jessica (Brandon) Speck, Kevin Wright, Christy Stalnaker, and Austin Landgraf; and four great-grandchildren, Carley Wright, Zaiden Wright, Spencer Speck, and Finley Speck.*
