Hamilton, AL – Mr. James Terry Drewery, age 67, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 13th, 2016, at the Russellville Hospital in Russellville, Alabama.

Visitation, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15th, 2016, at Hope Alive Church.  Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15th, at the Hope Alive Church.  Burial in the Tippah Memorial Gardens, on Highway 370, in Tippah County, Mississippi.

He is survived by his wife, Donnie Drewery; children, Tracy Drewery (Marsha Tice), Bryan Drewery, and Tim (Aricka) Drewery; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Waymon (Helen) Drewery; sisters, Betty (Bonnie) Smith, and Sherry (Jim) Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hamilton, AL – Ms. Frances “Frankie” Fite, age 92, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, December 10th, 2016, at her residence.

Memorial service, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 13th, 2016, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.  Burial in Hamilton City Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

“Frankie” was the wife of Bill Fite, Esq., of Hamilton, Alabama.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Fite; 1 son, Al Fite; and 1 grandson, Matthew Fite Hill.

She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Debbie Fite Hill and Brother: Jack Weeks.

Hamilton, AL – Mr. R.B. Barnes, age 90, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, December 8th, 2016, at the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Friday, December 9th, 2016, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10th, 2016, at the Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, Hamilton, Alabama (Map).  Burial in Donham Cemetery, Hamilton, Alabama (Map).

Mr. Barnes is survived by his daughter, Wilma (Jan) Baker; son, Kenny Barnes; grandchildren, Jill Baker, Shane Baker and Stephanie DeArcos; great-grandchildren, A.J. Oda, Jason Lowery, and Rylie DeArcos.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Madie L. Cantrell Barnes.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Antioch Freewill Baptist Church, 451 County Hwy. 107, Hamilton, AL., or the COPD Foundation.

Guin, AL – Ms. Evalee Gann, age 83, of Guin, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 6th, 2016, at her residence.

Ms. Gann was born June 2nd, 1933 to the late Dave Price Ballinger and Viola Williams Ballinger.

She is survived by 2 step-sons, Billy Austin “Bill” (Faye) Gann and Almon (Martha) Gann; grandchildren, Cherye, Jeff, Terry, and Jana; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends; and 1 sister, Magdalene Whitworth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roner Gann; 2 brothers, Lee Roy Ballinger, and J.C. Ballinger; and 1 sister, Eloise Ballinger Roberts; and a nephew, Jeremy Whitworth.

Fultondale, AL – Mr. Mark K. Lowery, age 69, of Fultondale, Alabama, passed away Monday, December 5th, 2016, at his residence.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 9th, 2016 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Walker Chapel Funeral Home in Fultondale, Alabama.

Mark was a 1966 graduate of Fairfield High. He was a USAF vet and he retired after over 20 years as a butcher, most recently with Sam’s Club Hoover. Mark was an Alabama Football fan, enjoyed riding his Harley and fishing with his late brother, Phillip.

He is survived by his son, Scott Lowery; 1 brother, Ron Lowery; 1 sister, Gale Lowery Hendon; 2 nephews, James and Wade Hendon; 3 nieces, Kim Lowery Jones and Kristi Lowery, Rhonda Hendon Morgan, and Patricia Hendon Mangina; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, R.G. “Greeley” Lowery and Letha Rye Lowery; his wife of 24 years, Laura Gaddy Lowery; his brother, Phillip Wayne Lowery (July 19, 1941 – September 9, 2016), and an infant brother (September 22, 1948 – September 22, 1948); his maternal grandparents, from Marion/Lamar County, Alabama, John Thomas “Bose” Rye and Rachel Emmaline Martha Jane Carter Rye; and his paternal grandparents from Lamar County, Alabama.

*(Footnote by Judith “Judy” Webb Mays) Mark was my first cousin. We were close in age and as we grew-up, our families visited each other often. He and his family lived in Fairfield and mine in Hamilton. I loved him dearly and will miss him so much!

Hamilton, AL – Ms. Nettie Flora Channell Randolph, age 87, Hamilton, AL., passed away Sunday, December 04, 2016 at the Russellville Hospital. She was born November 13, 1929, in Lamar County Alabama to James Crave Channell and Mary Channell.

The visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will be Wednesday, December 07, 2016 at 2 p.m at Marion County Funeral Home. Burial at Popular Log Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kilby Randolph; parents, James Crave Channell and Mary Channell, brothers, Lonnie Channell, Hubert Channell and one grandson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Elizabeth Collins (Bobby), Linda Randolph (William),
Donna Emerson, Marie Warren, Larry Randolph ( Jackie), Debra Chapman, Pam McPherson (Greg), Lisa Moss, Shelby Tidwell, Adam McPherson; twenty grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren; siblings, James Channell, Leonard Channell, Rachel Norris, Francis Burks; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.*

Hamilton, AL – Mr. Robert “Bob” Taylor, age 88, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away December 4th, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama.

Robert was the son of the late Roy and Stanley Taylor.  He was born on November 3rd, 1928.

He is survived by his children, Stuart (Sondra) Taylor, Mark (Liza) Taylor, and Gail Taylor (Rich) Mahoney; grandchildren, Adam Taylor, Jana Taylor, Joseph Taylor, John Mark Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Anna Bella Taylor, Dawson Taylor, Savannah Tate, and John David Tate.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Stanley Taylor; 1 brother, Waymon Taylor; 3 sisters, Doris Taylor Stephens, Fleda Taylor Ray, and Rena Taylor Wyatt; daughter-in-law, Alisa Lynn Brown Taylor, and grandchildren, Robin Lynn Taylor, Trent Nathaniel Taylor, and (infant grandson), Tyler Brown Taylor.

Mr. Howell was born July 22nd, 1943, to the late Golden Howell and Lovie Glenn Howell.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Glenn Howell; 2 sons, Tom (Connie Sterling) Howell, and David Howell; 1 brother, Nathaniel (Kay) Howell; 2 sisters, Tammera Howell Bennett, and Shirley Howell Fox; 1 sister-in-law, Gaye Howell; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Golden Howell and Lovie Glenn Howell; 1 sister, Irene Howell Thiron; and 1 brother, Wayne Howell.
