Guin, AL – Ms. Jeanetta McClain LeDuke, age 73, of Guin, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, January 10th, 2017, in the Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12th, 2017, at the Guin First Baptist Church in Guin, Alabama. Bro. Kenny Hatcher, Bro. Zane Miles and Bro. Nicolas Seaborn officiating. Burial in the Guin City Cemetery, Guin, Marion County, Alabama.
Ms. LeDuke was born October 5th, 1943, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Chester Ray McClain and Verlie Arbie Emmerson McClain. She was a 1961 graduate of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Alabama and was the widow of the late Robert “Bobby” LeDuke. She had lived in Guin most of her life, was a member of the Guin First Baptist Church had worked at Wal-Mart and had been a Teacher’s Aide at Marion County High School in Guin since 1985.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Michelle (Jamie) Palmer of Hamilton, AL., and Laci LeDuke of Atlanta, GA.; 1 son, Lance LeDuke of Gu-Win, AL.; 8 grandchildren, Bro.Nicolas (Rachel) Seaborn, Rachel Seaborn, Reese Seaborn, Payton LeDuke, Skyler LeDuke, Ayla LeDuke, Summer LeDuke and Chloe Palmer; 2 sisters, Peggy McClain Jones of Huntsville, AL., and Carolyn McClain Morris of Tupelo, MS.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” LeDuke; and her parents, Chester Ray and Verlie Arbie Emerson McClain.
