Visitation, Monday February 27th, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.  Burial in Love Joy Cemetery in Beaverton, Lamar County, Alabama.

Survivors include, Fiancé: Linton Ary; Sisters: Merlene Skelton, Shirley Roper, Patricia Credille; Brothers: Eugene Randolph, Bobby Randolph, Felix Randolph, Buford Randolph and James Randolph; And A host of Nieces and Nephews, other Relatives and Friends.

Hamilton, AL – Ms. Lucille Sullins, age 91, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday night, February 24th, 2017, at her residence.

Visitation, 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 26th, 2017, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., following visitation, Sunday, at the funeral home chapel.  David Stidham and Jamie Jeffreys officiating  Burial in Cedar Tree Cemetery in Hackleburg, Marion County, Alabama.

Survivors include, Daughter: Bonnie Cooper; Grandchildren; Schawana (David) Stidham and Angie (Jamie) Jeffreys; Great-Grandchildren: Emma Jeffreys and Ragen Jeffreys (Brandon) Hall, and Hannah Stidham. Sister: Bea Frederick and Special Caregivers: Eyvone Stidham, Belinda Stidham and Mattie South.

img_1947APR 12, 1952 – JAN 31, 2017 – Bradford “Brad” McGuffie, age 64, of Pinson & Hamilton AL passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 after a courageous six year battle with cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Helen Webb McGuffie.

He is survived by his three sisters, Paula Weems, Sheila Dewees, Angela (Steve) Wingard, his brother, Mark McGuffie, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at the Pinson Bicentennial Park, Saturday, February 18, 2017, 2:00 – 4:00 pm with the memorial at Turkey Creek Nature Preserve at 4:30 pm at the Falls. Bro. Jim Hazelwood presiding.

*Author’s note: Brad was my second cousin and also my friend.  I will miss him and all his antics at the annual Webb Reunion! He was “One of a Kind”! Being younger than me and about my late brother Don’s age, I always thought of him as a “kid”, of course, as you always do of your younger siblings and cousins! robertson_alice_spannWinfield, AL – Ms. Alice Ann Spann Robertson, age 79, of Winfield, Alabama, passed away Thursday, February 16th, 2017, at Fayette Long Term Care Center, Fayette, Alabama.

Visitation, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.,  Sunday, February 19th, 2017, at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.  Funeral service, 3:00 p.m., Sunday following the visitation, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.  Brother Venlon Bradford officiating.  Burial in the Goodwater Cemetery.

Bobby Lacy, Brad Cunningham, Greg Moore, Jason Norris, Greg Guin, Chris Newman, Mark McDonald and Tony Nicholson serving as active pallbearers; Dale Spruiell, Duell Holloway, Donald Shelton, Jeff Bostick, Bob Henger and Solon Cunningham serving as honorary pallbearers.

Ms. Robertson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, devoting more than 40 years to her profession; most recently serving as the Director of Nurses at Winfield Carraway Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Robertson; son, Jeff (Kerri) Robertson; grandchildren, Kelly Rose Lindsey, (Matthew), Kensey Robertson, and Lane Robertson; great-grandson, Becton Brown; sisters, Danny Lou Spann, Bonnie Campbell, and Judy May; brothers, Benny Spann and Billy Mack Spann; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Roston Spann and Myrtie Bell Webster Spann; sisters, Polly Smith, Sarah Bull, and Reba Wheeler, and a brother, Glenn Spann.

The family extends special thanks to all of the wonderful nurses and staff at Fayette Long Term Care Center for their kind and loving care.  In lieu of flowers, a nursing scholarship fund has been set up in memory of Ms. Robertson, the family request that donations be made to the Citizens Bank of Winfield in memory of Ms. Robertson.
