Surrounded by her loving daughters, Juanita F. Schiefel, age 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Sulligent, Alabama, daughter of the late Murray and Daily Blayock Jackson.
On April 26, 1958 in Kenosha, Juanita was united in marriage to Edward H. Schiefel who passed away this past December 23, 2016. To this union were born 3 children, Debra, Kandie, and Eddie Jr. Juanita will be remembered waitressing at Wells Bros for 25 years, retiring to Alabama to take care of her mother and to enjoy her southern family. She enjoyed crafts fairs, flea markets, garage sales and her coffee. Juanita’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her daughters, Debra Connell of Cedar Rapids, IA., Kandie (Jeff) Chmielewski of Racine, WI.; grandchildren, Abby (Eddie) Padilla, Christopher (Teressa) Connell, Sam Connell, Emily (Myles) Chmielewski, Shelby, Kelly, and Lindsey Chmielewski, Alyssa (Josh) Szentes; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Lucas, Mila, Max, Payton, Piper, and Finnley; brothers, Murray (Kay) Jackson, Mickey (Sheila) Jackson; sister-in-law, Alice (Bill) DePaoli of Kenosha, WI.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
In addiction to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Eddie Schiefel, Jr.; and sister, Pauline “Monk” (A.C.) Tice.

Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Thursday, June 29, 2017, 5-7 P.M. Private interment will be held at Antioch Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, AL. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family have been suggested.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Aurora Hospice Nurses, Lisa Phillips, Lisa Heim, and social worker Kate Talbott for their loving and compassionate care.
