Guin, AL – Harley “Mickey” Goggans, age 59 of Guin, Alabama, formerly of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday August 23, 2017 at the North Ms. Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Visitation will be Friday August 25, 2017 from 6:00 until 9:00 at the Restoration Community Church (150 Co. Hwy. 148 Guin, AL. / Corner of Hwy. 43 and Marion County Lake Rd.). Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at the Church with burial to follow in the Goggans Cemetery.

Survivors include, Wife: Barbara Goggans, Children: Charles and Britton Goggans, Sister: Twyila Goggans, Niece: Tyila Goggans, Mother-In-Law; Yvonne Ausbon, Brother-In-Law: Jimmy (Angie) Coggin and a host of Other Relatives and many Friends.

He was preceded in death by, Parents: Charles and Frances Tollison Goggans, Grandparents: Dewey and Grace Goggans and Edgar and Lola Tollison, Father-In-Law: Cecil Ausbon.

Mickey and his wife, Barbara have run the Marion County Lake between Hamilton and Guin for many years. He will be greatly missed.

Rosa Belle  “Rosie” Jeffreys, Age 95, of Ishpeming, MI, formerly of Hamilton, Marion County, AL., Born July 14, 1922, in Detroit, Al.

ISHPEMING, MI – Rosa Belle “Rosie” Jeffreys, age 95, an Ishpeming resident since 2000, passed away Saturday July 29, 2017 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where she had resided since 2006.

Rosa is survived by 2 children: Opal (Joe) Giroux and Hollis (Willow) Jeffreys, 8 grandchildren, including: Michael (Tanya) Giroux, Jeffrey (Ann) Giroux and James (Carol) Giroux, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor “Vic” Jeffreys.

Eleanor P. Webb
(1941 – 2017)
Eleanor P. Webb, age 75 of Birmingham passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Webb was a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Pinson. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Billy Webb; her sons, Ricky, Ledell (Karen), and Walter; a brother, Donald Post; sisters, Sue Sanderson and Meredith Murphey; her beloved grandchildren, Quentin (April), Angel (Jeff), Corey (Kelly), Meghan (Gil), Marissa, Brody, Miranda, and Zachariah; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Hopewell Baptist Church in Pinson, AL with visitation from 12 to 2 pm followed with a service at 2pm. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Cemetery in Pinson. Arrangements under the direction of Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel, Gardendale, AL., 2029 Decatur Hwy., Gardendale, AL.
