Hamilton, AL – Annie “Ann” Turner, age 85, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at the North Ms. Medical Center in Tupelo, Ms.

Visitation was held Tuesday, June 26th, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service was held on Wednesday June 27th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Grove Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Survivors include, Children: Annetta LeSueur, Larry Turner, Gary Turner, Varner Turner, Billy Turner and Jackie Turner; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Double Springs, AL – Jennifer Lynn Boykin Vickery, age 62, of Double Springs, Alabama, passed away June 23rd, 2018, at Walker Baptist Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Mrs. Vickery was born February 15th, 1956 in Athens, Alabama to the late Joe and Pauline Boykin. Lynn graduated from Winston County High School in 1975. She was dispatcher 6701 for the Winston County Sheriff’s office for the last 17 years and during this time received Dispatcher of the Year Award twice. Lynn was a member of Fraternal Order of Police. She loved spending time with her friends and was an avid Auburn fan. “WAR EAGLE”.

Visitation, Sunday, June 24th, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, Alabama. Funeral service, Monday, June 25th, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Reverend Michael Tidwell, officiating. Burial in Whitehouse Cemetery in Brilliant, Alabama.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Joe Vickery; brothers, Tony Boykin and his wife Carol, and Mike Boykin and his wife Natalie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Pauline Boykin.

Pallbearers are Police Officers: Les Abbott, Josh Silas, Greg Rooks, Levi Brown, Derreck Cagle, and Jon Tidwell.

Honorary Pallbearers, representatives of the Winston County Sheriff Office, Double Springs Police Department, Haleyville Police Department, Addison Police Department, Arley Police Department, Lynn Police Department, Winston County Firefighters, and EMS Personnel.

Tuscaloosa, AL – Evelyn Ashmore Odum, Age 92, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama died on June 21st, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 24th, 2018 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Parris and Rev. Robert Odum officiating.

A private family graveside service will follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Evelyn was born April 13th, 1926 to Guy and Bethel Ashmore.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Bethel Ashmore, her husband James Odum, Sr., 5 brothers, 1 sister, and 4 great grandsons.

She is survived by 6 children; Linda Riley, James Odum, Jr. (Jeanie), Jamie Wesley, Beth Holman, Don Odum (Lynn) and Robert Odum (Nicole), 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; 1 surviving sister, Martha Turner of Ocean Springs, Ms; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Zak Holman, Brandon Jones, Matt Odum, Kris Odum, John Eric Smith, and Robbie Pressley.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Northport First United Methodist Church, or Hospice of West Alabama.

Hamilton, AL – Harold Cole, age 73 of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at the North, Ms. Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Christopher Michael Paul Keech was born June 27, 1990 in Port Clinton, Ohio and claimed by our Lord early Wednesday morning June 20, 2018. He is survived by his parents Mark and Pam Keech of Muscle Shoals, a sister Sarah Wilhelm and her husband Matthew of Huron Ohio, a son Jayce of Russellville, along with numerous Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins in Ohio, Connecticut, California, New York and Colorado. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Florence, Al at 9:00 Am Monday June 25. Donations to commemorate his love of animals can be made to either the Colbert County or Florence/Lauderdale County animal shelters.

Winfield, AL – Mr. Jason Clarence Elliott, Jr., better known to some as “JC or Junior” age 86, of Winfield, passed away Saturday, June 16th, 2018 at the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.

J. C. was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion, Post 100 in Winfield, AL, and a member of the Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He is retired from Continental Conveyor where he worked as a forklift operator.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Elliott, children, Dewayne Harrison (Sandy), Chris Harrison (BJ), Vicky Parker (Jeff), Lisa Simmons (Michael), Shelly Welch (Joey), grandchildren, Justin and Julie Elliott, that he raised as his own, and a host of other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, Alice McCormick (Gordan), Linda Guy, Cricket Goodwin, brother, Robert Elliott, sisters-in-law, Joyce Harkins, Joan Harbin and Edith Walker (Bill), brother-in-law, Alfred Trimm and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Elliott is preceded in death by his parents, Jason Clarence, Sr, and Flora Mae Vaughn Elliott, son, David Allen Elliott, sister, Mary Elliott Mobley, brothers, Buford Elliott and Roger Elliott, sister-in-law, Brenda Trimm, brothers-in-law, Brooks “Tater” Trimm, Milford Trimm, and Ray Trimm.

Funeral services for Mr. Elliott will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Military honors will be presented at the graveside. Brother Donald Smith will be the officiating minister. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. (service time) at the funeral home. Brother Donald Smith will be the officiating minister.
