Winfield, AL – Michael Eugene McCluskey, age 46, of Winfield, Alabama, passed away Friday, August 10th, 2018 at his residence.

Service arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Bowen Funeral Home, Winfield, Alabama.

Michael was born July 20th, 1972, in Alabama, to Betty Ann White and Mike McCluskey.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Andreana McCluskey of Birmingham, AL., and Tosha Hulsey of Brilliant, AL.; 1 son, Tyler McCluskey of Montgomery, AL.; his parents, Mike McCluskey of La Porte, TX., and Betty Ann White of Hamilton, AL.; 1 sister, Linda McCluskey; 2 brothers, Brian McCluskey and Matthew McCluskey; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Wayne McCluskey; sister, Brenda McCluskey; brother, Scott McCluskey; and his grandparents.

Hamilton, AL – Marear Ritch , age 98 of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday August 7, 2018 at the Marion Regional Nursing Home.

Visitation, Friday, August 10th, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church. Burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Doris Ann Ritch Rye and Glynda Gale Ritch  Swinney; grandchildren, Bruce Rye, Byron (Holly) Rye, Bart (Cheri) Rye, Carla Swinney (David Mickelsen), and Rena Swinney; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ritch.

Atlanta, GA – Dianne Williams Garrick – June 27, 1951 – August 4, 2018, Dianne Williams Garrick, a graduate of Hamilton High School Class of 1969, passed away Saturday, August 4th, 2018.

Formerly of Hamilton, Alabama, Dianne has made Atlanta her home for many years. Her vibrant and loving personality will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know and love her.

A celebration of life service is planned for Saturday, August 18th, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. Details will be made available at a later date.

Dianne was the sister of Jimmy Lowell Williams.

Hamilton, AL – Anna Maria Blomgrem Darty, age 82, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, August 4th, 2018 in Florence, Alabama surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.

Visitation, Monday, August 6th, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Memorial service 2:00 p.m., following visitation at Calvary Baptist Church, 601 N Main St., Tuscumbia, Alabama. Brother Darrell Pace officiating.

Anna, more lovingly known as Nonna to all that knew her, was born in Trieste, Italy to Umberto and Vittoria Blomgrem on July 16th, 1936. She married Herbert L. Darty on October 6th, 1954 in Trieste, Italy.

Nonna is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Lee Darty, parents Umberto and Vittoria Blomgrem, brother Lussano Antonio, and sister Alberta. As well as two of her precious grandchildren, Selina Darty Godsey and Lance Hunter Milam, whom she loved dearly.

Nonna is survived by children, Victoria Darty-Mauney, Ginger Estes (Stanley), David Darty, Sandra Miller, Mark Darty (Tina), Sarah McGuire (Mike), Sonia Milam (Tim), and Teresa Alligood (Eric).
grandchildren, Brad Estes, Monica Wingo (Phillip), Tara Estes, Amber Tidwell, Joseph Miller (Jessica), Nina Wisdom (Harold), Brooke Barnes (Bear), Eric Alligood (Ashley), Morgan Milam (Chase), Gage Alligood (Leah), Alexis Barnes, Anna Victoria Alligood, and Samuel Darty.

Winfield, AL – Mrs. Frankie Lee White Wyers, age 98, of Winfield, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 4th, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 6, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. from the Winfield Church of Christ. A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (service time) on Monday at the church. James Wyers, Tony Brown and Harrison Moran will be the officiating ministers. Burial in the Winfield City Cemetery in Winfield, Marion County, Alabama.

Mrs. Wyers was born in Starkville, Mississippi on April 24th, 1920 and grew up in Fayette County, until she and her family moved to Winfield, Alabama in 1954. Mrs. Wyers was a member of the Winfield Church of Christ, and an active member of the Caregivers Ladies Ministry with the church, and a former member of Sweet Adeline’s of Marion County. “Mom”, as most of her family affectionately called her, loved hummingbirds, playing dominoes, collecting shoe figurines, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. Wyers was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Franklin White and Emma Elizabeth Sparks White, her husband, James Marshall Wyers, sisters, Myrl White Beasley and Nita White Black, brothers, Rudolph White, and Thomas L. White, and a granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Wyers.

She is survived by her sons, James Franklin Wyers (Loretta) and Sammy Jackson Wyers (Debi), her grandchildren, Marsha Wyers Farris (Daryl), Lana Carol Wyers, Adam Jackson Wyers (Sandy), Paul Thomas Wyers (Nicole), David Marshall Wyers (Deana), her great-grandchildren, John Zachary Farris, Jacob Marshall Farris, Ellie Catherine Wyers, Bonds Andrew Wyers, Michaela Brittlynn Hodges, Hannah Grace Palmer, Brayden Jackson Wyers, Tripp Reece Wyers, Sam Henry Wyers, a brother, J.C. Hamilton, AL – Irene Kurasaka Mitchell Rayburn Barnes, age 86, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 at her residence.

Irene was born on Sunday, April 10th, 1932 in Hamilton Alabama to Minnie Green Kurasaka and Sego Kurasaka. She was a member of the Hamilton Church of Christ. Her hobbies were reading, crocheting, traveling, and teaching her family about plants and animals. She loved the outdoors, walking in the woods, and growing flowers. Irene virtually raised her children by herself.

She is survived by granddaughter, Penny (Chris) Elledge, daughter of son Robert William Mitchell, Tony Rayburn, Vanessa (John) McCart, Linda (Len) Hertzing, and Paulette (Ray) Moore; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan Cox, Marie Jones, Janette (Sam) Moyer; brothers, Douglas (Janice) Kurasaka, Dwight Kurasaka, Gerald Dwayne (Joan) Kurasaka; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Earl Mitchell, L.V. Rayburn, and Wayman Paul Barnes; her parents, Sego Kurasaka and Minnie Green Kurasaka; son Robert William Mitchell; and sister Jean Kurasaka McCurdy.

Glen Allen, AL – Mr. Joe Ferrell Dodd, age 69, of the Whites Chapel Community near Glen Allen, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 in the Hospice Care Center at St. Martins In the Pines in Birmingham, Alabama.
