Haleyville, AL – Hazel Marie Bridgemon Cox, age 83, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away September 18th, 2018, at Haleyville, Alabama.

Visitation, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 23, 2018, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Joe Spiller officiating. Burial in Busby Cemetery near Nauvoo, Alabama.

She was a retired Nurses Aide, a member of Open Door Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Loyd Wayne (Melissa) Hallmark, and Janice Marie (Dale) Galbreath; grandchildren, Shannon Galbreath, Kevin Wayne, Mandy, Holly, Tina, Amy, Brandie and Connie; and a host of great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Autie Bridgemon; children, Patricia Diane Pratt and Terrel Gene Hallmark; brothers, Grady and Jack.

Haleyville, AL – Bobby Ray Sutherland, age 74, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 At his residence.

Mr. Sutherland was born on September 28th, 1943, in Haleyville, Alabama. Bobby was a jack of all trades which included working in coal mines, computer repair and the mobile home industry.  He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed music, singing, dancing and telling jokes.

Visitation, Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Funeral service, Friday, September 21st, 2018 at 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Brother  Rickey Witt officiating. Burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Bobby is survived by his son, Wayne (Beckie) Sutherland; daughters, Connie Tittle and her husband Douglas Turbyfill, Misty Clark and her husband Stephen; sisters, Louise Adair, Barbara Downey; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was “PawPaw” to 7 grandchildren, Latasha Mayfield, Andrew Knight, Rachel Knight, Heather Sutherland, Tara Shaffer, Trevor Clark, Trenton Clark; 8 great grandchildren, Symantha, Coleton, Courtney, Lilly, Holden, Lexie, Brooke, and Dorian. He leaves a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruby Mae Sutherland; parents, Arthur and Gertrude Sutherland; brothers, Elvis, Monk, Dee; sisters, Vick, Anna Bell, Marie, Nadine, Evelyn, Evalean, and Shirley.

Houston, AL – Tammy Lee Hunter, age 56, of Houston, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 17th, 2018, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Graveside service, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 19th, 2018, at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Brother T.J. Millican officiating.

Tammy was born February 12th, 1962, in Moulton, Alabama. She graduated from Winston County High School in 1980 and was a caregiver to special needs adults.  She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her parents, Frank Owen and Barbara Ann Hunter; 1 brother, Frank Owen (Michelle) Hunter Jr.; 3 sisters, Lisa (Danny) Henderson, Lana (Mike) Sargent, and Amy (Donald) Jones; uncle and aunt, John and Betty Hunter; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert M. and Curtis Spain, and O.B. and Myrtie Hunter; 1 uncle, Roger Spain; and 3 aunts, Luzell Powell, Laverne Aldridge and Vermell Wakefield.

Addison, AL – Wendell Eldridge Pigg, age 75, of Addison, Alabama passed away Monday, September 17th, 2018 at the Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Visitation, 1:00 -2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at the Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, Alabama. Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., following visitation, at the funeral home. Minister Darlene Hudgins officiating.  Burial in Sardis Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery.

Wendell was born on March 7th, 1943, in Cullman County, Alabama to the late John and Audie Pigg. He worked on a river boat and as an escort driver.  He was affectionately known as “Wink”.  Wendell loved his dogs and passing time with friends.

Wendell is survived by 1 son, David (Lisa) Pigg; 1 daughter, Sandy Pigg Taylor; 1 brother, Cecil Pigg; 6 grandchildren, Kayla, Alex, and Kimberly Taylor, Jacob Pigg, Zachary and Patrick Darnell; 3 great-grandchildren, Bentley, Madisyn, and Brinlyn Darnell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Audie Pigg; 1 brother, Buck Pigg; and 1 sister, Louise Pigg.

Guin, AL – Kenneth Duane McRea, age 45, of Guin, Alabama passed away Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at the Fayette Medical Center in Fayette, Alabama.

Visitation, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., until service time. Funeral service, 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18th, 2018 at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama. Burial will follow, Wednesday, September 19th, 2018 in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery, near Crews/Beaverton, Lamar County, Alabama.

Kenneth was born November 9th, 1972, in Alabama, to Gloria McRea Taylor and the late Hugh McRea, Jr. He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Brookman McRea, his mother, Gloria McRea Taylor; 1 sister Cheri McRea; and step-brother, David Taylor (Anita); his close friends, Rod Mayfield (Irish), and Shawn Lockheart (Lillie); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Hugh McRea, Jr., step-father, Willie Taylor; grandparents, Hugh and Lottie McRea, Sr., and Odis “Tom” and Zema Sprinkle; and 1 aunt, Beulah Jo Taylor.

Hamilton, AL – Glen Alfred Harris, age 80, of Hamilton, Alabama passed away Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at his residence.

Memorial service, 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 19th, 2018, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama.

Mr. Harris was born December 16th, 1937, in Adrian Michigan.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Harris; 2 sons, Bryon Harris and Mike Harris; 2 stepchildren, Vicci Sanchez and Milton Winters; and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by 2 children, Mary Harris and Tom Harris.

Ms. Manley was born August 13, 1930, in Alabama to the late Charles Chester Berryhill and Agnes Melinda Sparks Berryhill. She was a 1949 graduate of Brilliant High School and a member of the Goldmine Church of Christ in Brilliant, Alabama.

She is survived by her children, Susan (George) Pearce of Guin, AL., Hershel (Lana) Manley of Texas, and Drew Manley of Brilliant and his fiancé, Lori Young; grandchildren, Jason Pearce (Donna), Jared Pearce (Misty), Mark Pearce (Tessa), Rachel Credeur (Aaron), Andrew Manley, Daniel Manley (Meagan), Holly Manley, Lori Cole (Riley), Kelly Flannagin, Cole Cosby, Chloe Cosby, Grant Cosby; great-grandchildren, Joey Terrian, Daniel Stidham, Noah Stidham, Aria Manley, Adler Manley, Shana Davis, Cody Davis, Ayla Pearce, Andrew Credeur, Isabella Flannagin and Leanna Flannagin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Trumann, AR (Hamilton, AL) – Leonard Hugh Snider, 75, of Trumann, Arkansas passed away on September 12, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 15, 1943 in Hamilton, Alabama to the late Will and Delphia Blanche Harris Snider. He was a member of Elm Grove Baptist Church in Lake City, Arkansas, and was retired from Hytrol. He collected coins, old knives, and radios, played the guitar, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include; his wife: Ethel Snider of the home; one son: James Snider (Melanie) of Oregon; two daughters: Melissa Garrett of Sherwood, Arkansas and Cynthia Vaughn (Terry) of Hornersville, Missouri; one brother: Harold Edward Snider (Elaine) of Trumann, Arkansas; two sisters: Faye Taylor of Hamilton, Alabama and Dollie Adams (Derrel) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Jenifer Leonard, Mathew Snider, Ashley Richardson, Heather Moya, Christopher Mullins Richardson, Ta’Ya Reich, Dylan Snider, Chehaela Snider, Ambry Snider, and Eric Snider; seventeen great-grandchildren: Zahir Taylor, Zaria Taylor, Mackenzie Farr, Malachi Farr, Fénix Moya, Kaydence Williams, Caleb Mullins, Hannah Mullins, Sophia Mullins, Tremain Leonard, Jr., Madison Stracen, Kaitlynn Snider, Brooklynn Snider, and Atheya Reich, Brayden Jennings, Alexander Jennings and Ezekiel Jennings; and a host of other family and friends.
