Tom Weaver, age 83, of Hamilton, AL, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Marion Regional Nursing Home. He was born in Hamilton, Alabama on Wednesday, August 21, 1935 to Clarence and Gwendolyn Weaver.

Everyone knew Tom from Weaver’s Hardware. Tom enjoyed greeting the customers, sometimes people would just come by to tell him hello and pick at him.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Marion County Funeral Home. Service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Ted Burleson officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Memory Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Gwen Weaver; grandparents, Will and Dovie Weaver, William and Lula Bell Hamilton; ten aunts and uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, brother, Bill Weaver (Betty); sister, Jane Chambless (Ric); nephews & nieces, Sharon Hasting (Dwight), Judy Miller (Danny), Mary Meyer (David), Ric Chambless (Krista), Chris Chambless (Elisha); great nephews & nieces, Beth, Matthew, Misty, Jenna, Meredith, Katy, Wilson, Wesley, Emma, Jake, Bo, Loxley; great-great nephews & nieces, Sarah Paxton, Noah, Eli, Anna, Reid, Sterling; and a host of friends.

Visitation, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at the Marion County Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 12:00 p.m., following visitation at the funeral home chapel.  Rev. Jackson officiating.  Burial in Morris Cemetery in Liberty Minter Morris Alabama. (In Morris, Jefferson County, AL., there are two cemeteries…one is Morris Cemetery and the other is Liberty-Minter Cemetery. Both names were listed.  I will find the correct one and update this obituary. Sorry for the confusion. JWM)
Ms. Parker was born Thursday, April 30th, 1936, to Daniel Evin McCombs and Patsy Harden McCombs.
Ms. Faye is survived by 3 children, Brenda Cole (husband, Johnny), Wayne Franks (friend, Cheryl), and  Terena Stidham (husband, Rodney); grandchildren, April Cagle (Rodney), Rachel Simmons (Jason), Shawn Franks, Summer Todd (Seth), Crystal Jones, Cody Franks, Leah Huffman (Ryan), Britney Stidham, and Taylor Busby (Daniel); 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Evelyn Hunt, John McCombs, and Carolyn Silas; best friends, Sally Bostick & Wilma Kitchens; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Evin McCombs and Patsy Harden McCombs; and 1 daughter, Linda Parker Cole.
