Funeral Service:  11:00 a.m., Monday, December 2, following visitation at the Guin First United Methodist Church.

Graveside Service:  3:30 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2019, at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery Carrolton, Alabama.

Cindy was Laboratory Director at Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama. She studied at the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama and attended Pickens Acadamy. She was originally from Carrollton, Alabama.*

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Guin First United Methodist Church or The American Cancer Society.

Died:  Thursday, November 28, 2019, in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation:  12:30 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2019, at the Memorial Funeral Home in Guin, Alabama.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 1, following visitation, at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Guin.

Born:  October 18, 1932, in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Kelsie Barnes and Cora Lee Hollis Barnes.  He had lived in Crews all of his life and was a faithful member of the Beaverton Free Will Baptist Church. He was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Sunday School Superintendent serving his Lord and church faithfully. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army. He was also a member of the Alabama National Guard and achieved the rank of SSG 6.*

Died:  Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at his residence.

Visitation:  1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, 2019, at the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church.

Service:  2:00 p.m., Monday, November 25, following visitation, at the Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
