Born: March 25, 1951, in Alabama to Hubert Cecil “Bill” Pugh and Gracie Lee York Pugh.  He was a member of The Shepherds Fields Church, a 1969 graduate of Marion County High School. Mr. Pugh served in the United States National Guard Army for 23 years as Ssgt-E6. He retired from The Hyster Co. in Sulligent after 33 years of service.*

Died: September 3, 2020, at his residence.

Visitation: 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.

Age: 58

Born: July 19, 1962, in Guin, Alabama to Martha Webb White and the late James Raymond White.

Died: August 19, 2020, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

A Memorial/Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced here.

Bio: Charles was born July 19, 1962, in Guin, Alabama to James Raymond White and Martha Webb White. He was a 1980 graduate of Marion County High School where he was the class salutatorian, a 1982 graduate of Brewer State Jr. College, and a 1986 graduate of Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. He worked in both retail and hospital pharmacies through the years, most recently being employed at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama. Charles was actively involved in Boy Scouts of America for several years as a troop leader and Cub Master, and an avid photographer. He especially enjoyed photographing the Auburn University Marching Band and was a die-hard Auburn fan. Charles was a Christian and of the Baptist faith.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.

*Author’s Note: This is a tribute to my sweet nephew, Charles White. You will be greatly missed. I’ve loved you since the first time I saw your sweet face on July 19th, 1962 and I will remember you and the good times we’ve had. We had a great family and lots of family gatherings over the years. Ricky was a member of Faith Fellowship Church of Winfield, he attended Brilliant High School and the University of Alabama. Ricky earned his paramedic degree and served Winfield and the local communities for over 20 years. Ricky was the owner/operator of “Rick’s Cleaning Service” for over 20 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and loyal friend.*

Died: August 13, 2020, at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

Died: Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.

Age: 82

Born: October 21, 1937, in Peoria, Illinois to Donald D. McDonough, Sr. and Doris M. Barclay McDonough. He was a 1955 graduate of Peoria High School and a graduate of Berean Bible College. Dave was a minister and delivered food for the McDonough Ministry and Foodbank in Newport News, Virginia. Mr. McDonough was a member of Faith Fellowship Church of Winfield; he taught the Men’s Bible Study class and was head-greeter for the church. Dave was a United States Marine Corp. Veteran and owner/operator of his own telecommunications business.

Died: Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
