Visitation, Sunday December 3rd, 2017 from 1:00 until service time at 3:00 at the Hamilton Freewill Baptist Church. Burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Hamilton, AL – Noah Peters, a beloved member of the Hamilton Funeral Home Family passed away Wednesday November 29, 2017 at the North Ms. Medical Center in Tupelo, Ms. A visitation will be held on Friday December 1 from 6:00 until 9:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Sulligent, AL – Mason Douglas Franklin, age 24, of Sulligent, Alabama passed away Monday, September 25th, 2017 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Visitation, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 29th, 2017 at Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.  Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at Otts Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial in Wofford Cemetery.

Mason was born June 29, 1993, in Winfield, Alabama to Robert Gene Franklin and Kim Renea Ballard.  He was a 2012 Graduate of Sulligent High School and a 2015 Graduate of Bevil State Community College in Hamilton, Alabama.  He presently worked for AT&T in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He enjoyed playing his Playstation, weight lifting, and was an avid LSU fan.  Mason loved being with his friends and spending time at the beach.

Mother: Kim (Matt) Graben, Detroit, AL

Robert Steve “Baldy” Ballard, age 68 of Hamilton, AL passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Sunset Manor in Guin, AL.

He was born in Amory, MS on Monday, August 30, 1948 to Berlon and Wilma Lee Hightower Ballard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Berlon and Wilma Ballard; grandparents, Curt and Aldie Ballard and Lee and Necie Hightower; 12 uncles and 8 aunts.

There will be a private graveside service at Barnesville Cemetery, Hamilton, AL for family and close friends. The Marion County Funeral Home will be directing the service.

He was survived by daughter, Stephanie Suzanne Ballard of Creola, AL; son, Curt (Christi) Ballard of Jasper, AL; grandson, Jackson Ballard; granddaughter, Annalee Ballard; sister, June (Eddie) Byrd; niece, Stacy (Todd) Page; nephew, Heath Mixon; 2 great nieces and 1 great-nephew; aunts, Curtis Ballard Heppe, Opal Rae Ballard, Dot Ballard, Johnnie Hightower Burks, Thelma (Doug) Hightower Dobbs, and Elizabeth (Jerry) Hightower Grissom; uncle, Bud (Mary) Hightower; special friends, Susan Nixon and Ellen Rodgers; and a host of other cousins and friends.

The family request any donations be made in memory of Steve Ballard to Hospice of Northwest Alabama, Winfield, AL.
