Bio:  Joe Mac Smith was born March 13, 1941 in Guin, AL, to the late Bennett Franklin Smith and Ora Mae Weaver Smith.  He graduated from MCHS in 1961, and had lived in Guin, Alabama and Haleyville, Alabama most of his life. He served in the National Guard for 9 years and was a member of the New Hope Church Of Christ.  He owned and operated Harden Manufacturing in Haleyville, Alabama.*

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham, AL or the Big Oak Ranch.
