Mr. Dewey Allen, age 93, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Sunday night, September 9th, 2012, at the Marion Regional Medical Center in Hamilton, Alabama.

Visitation, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12th, 2012, at the Hamilton Funeral Home, Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 12th, following visitation, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.  Jeff Fleming directing.  Burial in Barnesville Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Mr. Allen was born July 6th, 1919, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Sam and Emma Tice Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Allen; 1 son, Doyle Wayne Allen; 1 daughter, Evelyn Gonce; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Ms. Carolyn Green Winsett, age 71, Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Thursday, August 16th, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18th, 2012, at the Hamilton First Baptist Church in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 4:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18th, following visitation, at the Hamilton First Baptist Church.  Eddie Davidson officiating.  Burial in Barnesville Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

Ms. Winsett was born January 25th, 1941 in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Calvin Richard and Ila Holley Green.  She and her husband, Herbert “Herb” Winsett have been married for 51 years.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert “Herb” Winsett; 1 daughter, Terri (Greg) Emerson; 1 son, Shane (Melonie) Winsett; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Hershel Green, and Lemuel Green; 3 sisters, Joann Horton, Jane Tesney, and Pat Peoples; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
