Born: October 9, 1942 in Lamar County, Alabama to Lewis Guy Johnson and Mary L. Johnson.

Died: Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at his residence.

At the request of the family, no funeral services were held.

Burial: Crews Cemetery.

Survived By:

Wife: Mary Chloe Johnson, Sulligent, AL.

Sister: Sarah Johnson Romans, Caledonia, MS.

Niece: Angela Kinard

Nephew: Michael Romans

Preceded In Death By:

Parents: Lewis Johnson and Mary L. Johnson

Bio: William was born on October 9, 1942 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Lewis Guy Johnson and the late Mary L. Johnson. He attended Lamar County High School. William retired from 3M after 40 years. He enjoyed gardening and shooting pool. William was a member of Sulligent First Freewill Baptist Church.*

Died:  Friday, September 6, 2019, at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.

Visitation:  10:30 – 11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.

Funeral Service:  11:30 a.m., Saturday, September 14, following visitation, at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial:  Crews Cemetery.

Officiating:  Bro. John Nicholson.

Son:  Jerry Paul (Martha) Otts, Moody, AL.

She was a member of Sulligent First Baptist Church.*
