Beaverton, AL – Mr. Earlie Ray Wallace, age 72, of Beaverton, Alabama, passed away Saturday, June 7th, 2014 at his residence.

Visitation, 10:00 a.m., Thursday morning, June 12th, 2014, at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent, Alabama. Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Thursday, following visitation at the funeral home. Bro. Larry Madison officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers, Vincent Wilson, Gabriel Hollis, Steve Hackman, Bobby Metcalfe, Darlis Metcalfe, and Victor Croder. Honorary pallbearers, Keith Sullivan, Kenny Sullivan, Kevin Sullivan, Douglas Sullivan, Frankie Marchbanks, and Michael Harrington.

Mr. Wallace was born July 21st, 1941, in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Earlie G. and Lestie Hollis Wallace. He was a member of Roxanna Baptist Church. He attended Lamar County Training School, and was retired from Winfield Cotton Mill. He also enjoyed farming, gardening and carpentry.*

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Wallace, Beaverton, AL.; his daughters, Sheila Wallace, Birmingham, AL., Michelle (Freddie) Ray, Birmingham, AL.; honorary daughter, Sandra Marchbanks, Beaverton, AL.; 2 grandchildren, Tiara Corder, and Briona Ray; 1 brother, Willie Bob (Josephine) Wallace, Mount Clemens, MI.; 4 sisters, Bertha Wallace, Beaverton, AL., Dorothy Harrington, Mount Clemens, MI., Paralee Truelove, Lorain, OH., Marion Austin, Sheffield Lake, OH.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earlie G. and Lestie Wallace.
