Eva, AL – Mr. Ronnie Darrell Dempsey, age 59, of Eva, Alabama, passed away Saturday, December 31st, 2016, at his residence.

Visitation, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 4th, 2017, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, following visitation, at the funeral home chapel in Hamilton.  Burial in Antioch Cemetery.

Mr. Dempsey was born March 13th, 1957, to the late Paul Dempsey and Chery Dempsey.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Dempsey; children, Patrick Dempsey, Chery Dempsey, Carla Woods, and Michael Duke; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Tony Hoskins, and Terry Hoskins; and 1 sister, Tonya Duke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Dempsey and Katherine Dempsey; 1 son, Robert Dempsey; and 1 brother, Roger Hoskins.

O. E. “Gene” Lindsey, Jr., age 83, of Guin, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 26th, 2012, in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28th, 2012, at the Norwood Funeral Home, Guin, Alabama.  Funeral service, 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 28th, 2012, following visitation, at  the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel in Guin, Alabama.  Bro. Tim Alexander officiating.  Burial in the Guin City Cemetery. 

Mr. Lindsey was born in Bexar, Alabama  August 27th, 1929 to the late Ognell Eugene and Eva Lee Davis Lindsey, Sr.   He formerly resided in Ridgeland, Mississippi but had lived in Guin, Alabama the past 4 years.  He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the US Army, a Member of the VFW and of the Church Of Christ faith.

He is survived by 3 brothers-in-law, Robert (Emma) Cotton of La Palma, CA., Robert (Denna) Hankins, and William (Bobbie) Hankins, of Guin, AL.;  and 2 nephews; and 6 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda J. Hankins Lindsey; his parents, Ognell Eugene and Eva Lee Davis Lindsey, Sr.;  1 brother, Tommy Lindsey, and an infant brother.
