Ms. Edna Mae Fowler Powell, age 80, of Winfield, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 19th, 2012, at Sunset Manor in Guin, Alabama.

Visitation, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21st, 2012, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, Winfield, Alabama.  Funeral service, 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21st, following visitation, at the funeral home.  Bro. Pat Powell officiating.  Burial in the Winfield City Cemetery, Winfield, Alabama.  Pall bearers, Grady Powell, Craig Powell, Stephen Powell, Nic Powell, Matt Morris, and Mike Adams.

Ms. Powell was born December 8th, 1931, to Wilbur G. and Victoria Webb Fowler.  Ms. Powell was a member of Winfield First Baptist Church and was retired after 25 years of service, from the Winfield Cotton Mill.

She is survived by 3 sons, Charles Edward Powell Jr., Manchester, TN., Daniel Grady (Cathy) Powell, Winfield, AL., and Craig Stephen (Valerie) Powell, Hartselle, AL.; 1 daughter, Kathy (William) Morris, Winfield, AL.; 8 grandchildren, Pat (Suzanne) Powell and Julie (Will) Sherrill, all of Tuscaloosa, AL., Joshua (Nicole) Powell of Winfield, AL., Stephen (Dorothy) Powell of Homewood, AL., Nic Powell of Hartselle, AL., Matt Morris of Winfield, AL., and Leslie (Chris) Prescott of Winfield, AL.; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of brothers & sisters; nieces & nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Powell Sr.; and her parents Wilbur G. and Victoria Webb Fowler.
