Gennell S. “Nell” Holcomb of Winfield, Alabama.

Age: 80

Born: September 14, 1939, in Alabama, Nell was a member of Bethel Church of Christ and a 1957 graduate of Brilliant High School. She was a retired employed with Winfield City School system as a bus driver for over 25 years. Nell grew up in her mother’s café and became a great cook. She was a faithful Christian and member of Bethel Church of Christ. Her last few years were spent making new friends and playing bingo every week.*

Died: Saturday, June 6, 2020, at Sunset Manor Health Care in Guin, Alabama.

Visitation: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m.,Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Brilliant Memorial Gardens, Brilliant, Alabama.

Officiating: Steve Tidwell, Charlie Rawls, and Bob Hutto.
