Funeral Service:  12:00 p.m., Monday, September 23, following visitation, at the Winfield First Baptist Church.

Burial:  West Alabama Memorial Gardens, Gu-Win, Alabama.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home.

Burial:  West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win, AL.

Husband:  Derrick Smith of Winfield, AL.

Bio:  Marie was born on April 30, 1971, in Longview, Texas a daughter of Curtis Anderson and Diane Pascucci Broeckel. She grew up in Illinois where she attended Elgin High School. She graduated from Bevill State Community College in Hamilton earning her L.P.N. in nursing.  While living in Texas, she enjoyed showing Arabian horses/  She loved reading her Bible and she loved her family, dogs, and animals of all kinds.*

Ruby Inez Watts Harrod, age 75 of Guin, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Marion County Funeral Home.  Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Marion County Funeral Home.  Bro. Joe Tolbert officiating.  Burial in Heritage Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win, Alabama.

Ms. Harrod was born September 23, 1936, in Marion County, Alabama, to the late Clyde and Fannie Lucille Martin Watts.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby J. Harrod; 1 son, Michael J. (Katherine) Harrod 3; grandchildren, Robert Harrod, Christopher (Kelly) Harrod, James (Julie) Harrod; 1 great-granddaughter, Ellie Mason Ava Harrod; 3 sisters, Dorothy (William) Atkins, Helen (Wymon) Wilson, and Ann (Harry) Kallenback; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Steven Harrod and parents, Clyde and Fannie Lucille Martin Watts.

Jannie “Jan” Burleson McCracken, age 54 of Twin, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 29, 2011, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, Winfield, Alabama.  Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2011, at the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win, Alabama.  Matthew Thigpen officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Harold L. Bathke; her mother, Doris Jean Crowe Burleson; 1 sister, Sharon Burleson (Robert) Couch,  of Richmond TX.; 2 nephews, Jeremy Chad Couch, Richmond, TX., and Clinton Lee (Cory) Couch, Katy, TX.; and 5 great-nieces and great-nephews, Kari Emiliee Couch, Tristan Lee Couch, Brittany Lauren Couch, Brandon Thomas Couch, Brooke Leigh Couch.

Jan was preceded in death by her father, Sherman Lee Burleson, and a husband Dale McCracken.
