Born: August 29, 1942, to Elmer Clark and Lillie Mae Clay Clark in Hamilton, Alabama. Betty was a 1960 graduate of Hamilton High School, a member of Fulton Bridge Baptist Church in Hamilton and was employed by the Auburn Extension System for 41 years.

Died: Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation: 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020 at the Bowen Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home chapel.

Officiating: Brother Michael Stancil.

Survived by:

Husband of 51 years: Hugh Whitman of Hamilton, AL.

Brother: Donny Clark (Linda) of Hamilton, AL.

Niece: Roxanne Whitman of IL.
