Hamilton, AL – Ms. Martha Jeanette Hudson Webb, age 66, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama.

Martha was the widow of the late William Harold “Bill” Webb of Hamilton, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening, July 23rd, 2015, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 24th, 2015, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial in Poplar Log Cemetery, East of Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

She is survived by 2 sons, Curtis Webb, and Dewayne Webb; grandchildren, C.J. Webb, Hunter Webb, Coedy Slater, Justin Webb and Emma-Kate Webb; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Pamela, Ashton, and Landon Webb; sisters, Wanda Raynor, and Glennel Lancaster; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold “Bill” Webb; her parents, Charles and Dora Collins; 1 sister, Patricia Simmons; and 1 nephew, Charles Spears.

Our loss is Heaven’s gain.  Martha, we love you, you will be missed.

Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 10th, 2013, at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11th, 2013, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial in Poplar Log Cemetery, Hamilton, Marion County, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Webb; son, Dewayne Webb; 2 sisters, Mrs. Johnnie Webb McGuffie, and Dora Lee Webb Jones; sisters-in-law, Faye Webb, and Ann Webb; and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives & cousins (including the author of these obituaries, Judy Webb Mays, he was my first cousin and I was proud to call him “cuz”); he also leaves many, many friends who will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Anderson and Edna G. Lindsey Webb; 5 brothers, James Clarence Webb, Lecil Webb, Rayvon “Ray” Webb, and Glen “Charlie” Webb; 2 sisters, Helen McGuffie, and Nellie Crenshaw; brother-in-laws, “Boots” McGuffie, Hugo Crenshaw, and Paul McGuffie; sisters-in-law, Gertrude Frederick Webb, and Maudeen Stark Hanson Webb; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
