Mr. Jerrel F. Brumley, age 84, of Hodges, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, July 16th, 2013, at the Russellville Hospital, in Russellville, Alabama.

Visitation, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., Friday, July, 19th, 2013, at Hodges First Missionary Church, in Hodges, Alabama. Funeral service, 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 19th, 2013, at the First Missionary Church in Hodges, Alabama. Burial in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges, Alabama.

Mr. Brumley worked at Blue Bell in Hackleburg, Alabama, and at NTN Bower in Hamilton, Alabama before retiring.  He was a deacon at First Missionary Baptist Church at Hodges, Alabama, for over 29 years.

He is survived by 2 sons, Stan (Judy) Brumley of Hamilton, MS., and Keith (Gina) Brumley of Hackleburg, AL.; 2 daughters, Linda (Ken) Raburn of Hodges, AL., and Kathy (Danny) Carter of Jasper, AL.; 5 grandchildren, Stacy (Mike) Phillips and Kelsey Brumley of Hamilton, MS., Clinta Che’ (James) Reed and Jeri Carter of Conway, AR., and Rocklin Brumley of Hackleburg, AL.; 6 great-grandchildren, Evan Phillips of Hamilton, MS., Taylor Raburn, Brady and Emily Caldwell of Foley, AL., Caleb Carter Reed and Eli Daniel Reed of Conway, AL.; and a special sister-in-law and friend, F.E. Brumley.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clinta Faye Lawler Brumley; his parents, Plumer George and Lola Jackson Brumley; 1 grandson, Chris Raburn; 2 brothers, Elmer Brumley, and Kenneth Brumley; and 2 sisters, Mary Frances Kinsey, and Glydia Patterson.
