Marshal Watson, age 72, of Detroit, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012, at Pleasant Site Church. The body will lie-in-state from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to service at the church. Burial in Rudicell Cemetery. Bro. Mike Franklin and Bro. Jerry Plott officiating.
Mr. Watson was born March 28, 1939, in Marion County, Alabama to Vester and Ivy Todd Watson.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Watson; children, Daron (Linda) Watson, and Rodney (Rena) Watson; grandchildren, April (Phillip) King, Cody Watson, Danielle Watson, Whitney Watson, and Ashley Watson; great-grandchildren, Kenton Steele, Grantley Steele, and Talen Steele.
