Obituary:

Corbin Earl Mozingo infant son of Courtney Leigh Gann and Devan Ke-Shan Mozingo passed away Friday, April 24, 2020, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on April 23, 2020 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his Great-Great-Grandfather, James Cutts, Great-Grandfather, Kenneth Mozingo, Aunt, Angela Mozingo and Uncle, Christopher Mozingo.

Corbin is survived by his Parents, Courtney Leigh Gann and Devan Ke-Shan Mozingo, his Grandparents, Chris and Jerri Gann of Winfield, AL., Tammy Mozingo of Fayette, AL., and James Nalls of Fayette, AL., Great-Grandparents, Sandra Mozingo of Fayette, AL., and Jimmy and Patricia Henderson of Winfield, AL., Sister, Kyndel-Renee Mozingo of Winfield, AL., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Private graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., from Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fayette, Alabama, with Mark Maddox officiating. A private visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday from Miles Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.

Curtis Conner, Jr. of Winfield, Alabama.

Age: 71

Born: June 3, 1948, in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late Curtis S. Conner, Sr. and Beatrice Yielding Conner. He lived in Winfield, Alabama and was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Guin, Alabama. Curtis was retired from Reltoc/Cotler in Winfield, Alabama where he had worked in management for over thirty-five years. He loved the outside and duck/geese hunting with his son and grandsons. His grandchildren were his delight.*

Died: Monday, March 3, 2020, at his residence.

Private Funeral Services are planned for Wednesday, March 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent, Alabama. Born:  December 22, 1947 in Fayette, Alabama to the late Garvin May and Louise Miles May. She was raised in Guin, Alabama and attended Marion County High School in Guin. She worked as a district manager for West Oil for several years. She was a faithful member of Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed listening to gospel music, doing art work, watching the Hallmark channel and reading her Bible. She was a good mother and loved her children and grandchildren.*

Died:  Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, Alabama.

Visitation:  2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Monday, December 16, 2019 at the Miles Funeral Home in Winfield, Alabama.

He attended the Turnaround Church in Winfield and was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved all kinds of hunting and fishing. He was a good man, fun-loving and loved by many and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.*

After his retirement he returned to his family farm in the Wayside Community where he was a member of the Wayside Church. While there he worked as a pulp-wooder for some time and enjoyed working in his yard, farming, and gardening.*
