Born:  December 21, 1995, in Columbus, Mississippi to Amber Logan and Roy Parker.

Died:  Thursday, August 22, 2019, near Carbon Hill, Alabama due to an automobile accident.

Visitation:  5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at Norwood Funeral Home, 5987 Hwy 278, Sulligent, Alabama 35586.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the Union Chapel Baptist Church, 39060 County Road 49, Beaverton, Alabama 35544.

Burial and Graveside Service:  Center Hill Baptist Church, 40009 Church Road Hamilton, Mississippi 39746.

Officiating:  Bro. Chris Thomas, Bro. B.J. Mills, and Bro. Smiley Simms.

Bio:  Scottie was born December 21, 1995, in Columbus, Mississippi to of Amber Logan and Roy Parker. She was a 2014 graduate of Hamilton Mississippi High School in Hamilton, Mississippi. She received a softball scholarship and graduated from Hines Community College.  She had worked at First State Bank, Cox Dental and Cooner Dental.  She was a member of the Aberdeen First Baptist Church and attended Union Chapel Baptist Church.*

Bio:  Born November 26, 1936, he is the son of the late John Henry Frank Flynn and Minnie Jenkins Flynn and the husband of Wanda Scott Flynn.  He had lived in the Lost Creek Community and Sulligent, Alabama all of his life,  had retired from Amory Garment Company in Amory, Mississippi after working 40 years and was a member of the Sulligent United Methodist Church.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church in Beaverton, Alabama.

Burial:  Rudicell Cemetery in Marion County, Alabama, near Detroit, Alabama.

Bio:  Frances was born July 14, 1929, to the late John Thomas and Gera Davidson Markham in Detroit, Alabama. She attended Detroit Elementary and Sulligent High School. In 1947 she married W. L. “Jr” Karr, Jr. and shared 53 years of marriage until his death in October 2000.  A homemaker and partner in her husband’s farming pursuits, she was a member of the Detroit United Methodist Church and later the Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a friend and neighbor to all.*

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Hebron Methodist Church, the Rudicell Cemetery, or the Gideons.

Service:  3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, following visitation at the church.
