Mr. Jeremy Whitworth
, age 35, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, formerly of Guin and Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at his residence.

Visitation, 2:00 – 3:30 p.m., Sunday, May 5th, 2013 at Norwood Funeral Home, Guin, Alabama.  Funeral service, 3:30 p.m., Sunday, May 5th, 2013 at the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel, in Guin, Alabama.  Bro. Mark Riggs officiating.  Burial in the Guin City Cemetery, Guin, Marion County, Alabama.  Pallbearers, Danny Rhudy, Ben Johnson, Jason Kell, Ryan Lolley, Shannon Lolley, and Mark Hightower.

Mr. Whitworth was born in Amory, Mississippi to Jerry and Sheryl Whitworth.  He worked as an escort for mobile homes and attended Liberty Free Will Baptist Church.  He was formerly from the Guin and Hamilton, Alabama area but had just recently moved to Muscle Shoals, Alabama in the past year.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Sheryl Whitworth, Guin, AL.; 1 sister: Kelley (Paul) Jones, Guin, AL.; his grandmother, Magdalene Whitworth; 1 niece, Caitlyn Jones; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leamon and Betty Smith, and his grandfather, Ernest Whitworth.

Mr. Todd Cantrell, age 49, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013.

Visitation, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30th, 2013, at the Guin First Baptist Church, Guin, Alabama.  A Celebration of  His life held, 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30th, 2013, at the Guin First Baptist Church.  Bro. Steven Webb, Bro. Randy Wright, Bro. Steve Jones, and Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating.

Mr. Cantrell was born June 30th, 1963, and was a native of Guin, Alabama.  He had lived in Birmingham, Alabama for the last 15 years.  He was an executive with AT&T and traveled extensively.  He graduated from Marion County High School in Guin, Alabama and from Pensacola Christian Academy in Pensacola, Florida with undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Education.  He was an accomplished pianist and a lifelong Alabama Fan.*

He is survived by his mother, Betty Sue Cantrell; 1 sister, Wanda Cantrell; aunts and uncles, Clistie Benton, Robbie & Dempsey Bozeman, Evelyn Busby, and Margaret & Gene Bozeman; and scores of loving and loyal friends; especially Doug Yarbrough and Baxter & Simon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ruble Cantrell; uncles & aunts, Roy Benton, Ernest Busby, and Bobbye & Orville Cantrell.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Magic City Choral Society  or Schnauzer Love Rescue at 1356 Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham, AL 35235.
