Exie Mae Herron Thompson of Detroit, Alabama.

Age:  86

Born:  July 26, 1933, in Sulligent, Alabama to the late Grady Herron and Alma Harper Herron. She owned and operated Detroit Café and Hershel’s Service Station. Exie was a Charter member of the Detroit Church of God. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with her family, shopping, and working with flowers.*

Died:  Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation:  6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019, at the Detroit Church of God in Detroit, Alabama.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2019, at the Detroit Church of God in Detroit, Alabama.

Burial:  Carter Cemetery

Officiating:  Bro. David Gifford and Bro. Aaron Gann.

Pallbearers: Ryan Enlow, Johnny Stanford, Blayne Saine, Judson Hulsey, Byron Gann, and Kerry Gann
