Obituary:

Gary Franklin “Flatt” Burleson, age 78 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020. He served in the United States Army, retired owner of Big B Sales and was a member of the Corinth Heights Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Lance Hogan officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Heights Cemetery.

Mr. Burleson is survived by his wife, Naomi Burleson; children, Michael (Nikki) Burleson, Tanya (Bryant) Ryals and Jennifer Batchelor; sisters in law, Fay Bureson and Ruby Burleson; and grandchildren, Josh Batchelor, Landon Ryals and Anna Beth Burleson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucian and Josephine Burleson; sister, Betty Burleson and her husband, Dennis; and brothers, Tony Burleson and Harold Burleson.

Obituary:

Harold Gray Burleson, age 76 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Friday, March 6, 2020. He owned and operated Burley Wholesale in Bear Creek, AL. and was a member of Barn Creek Church of Christ.

Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2020 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Reggie Weems speaking and Hayden Childs officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Burleson is survived by his wife Ruby Tidwell Burleson; daughter, Tina Burleson (Tony) Head; brother, Gary “Flatt” (Naomi) Burleson; Sister-In-Law, Fay Burleson; Brother-In-Law: Larry (Sheila) Tidwell; grandchildren, Tara Head (Steven) Moody and Trey Head; great grandchildren, Brantley Moody and Ella Blayke Moody; a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lucian Burleson and Josephine Burleson; siblings, Betty Burleson (Dennis) Raburn and Tony Burleson.

Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, following visitation, at the funeral home.

Haleyville, AL – Margo Teas McDonald, age 71, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Thursday, September 20th, 2018.

Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 24th, 2018, at the Winston Memorial Mausoleum.

She was a retired Registered Nurse and a member of First United Methodist Church in Haleyville, Alabama.

She is survived by her mother, Wanda Arant Teas; 1 son, Steve (Staci) Gray; cousin, David (Glenda) Arant; and a host of other family and friends.

Margo was preceded in death by her father, James Teas; and 1 brother Steve Teas.
