Funeral Service:  2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church in Beaverton, Alabama.

Burial:  Rudicell Cemetery in Marion County, Alabama, near Detroit, Alabama.

Bio:  Frances was born July 14, 1929, to the late John Thomas and Gera Davidson Markham in Detroit, Alabama. She attended Detroit Elementary and Sulligent High School. In 1947 she married W. L. “Jr” Karr, Jr. and shared 53 years of marriage until his death in October 2000.  A homemaker and partner in her husband’s farming pursuits, she was a member of the Detroit United Methodist Church and later the Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church.  A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a friend and neighbor to all.*

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Hebron Methodist Church, the Rudicell Cemetery, or the Gideons.

Marshal Watson, age 72, of Detroit, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Visitation, 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel in Hamilton, Alabama.  Funeral service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2012, at Pleasant Site Church.  The body will lie-in-state from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., prior to service at the church.  Burial in Rudicell Cemetery.  Bro. Mr. Watson was born March 28, 1939, in Marion County, Alabama to Vester and Ivy Todd Watson.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Watson; children, Daron (Linda) Watson, and Rodney (Rena) Watson; grandchildren, April (Phillip) King, Cody Watson, Danielle Watson, Whitney Watson, and Ashley Watson; great-grandchildren, Kenton Steele, Grantley Steele, and Talen Steele.
