Born:  May 17, 1921, in Sulligent, Alabama the late Ellie (Nonie) Birmingham Nolen and Burt Nolen.

Died:  Friday, April 26, 2019, in LaGrange, Kentucky.

Visitation:  1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.

Memorial Service:  2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019, following visitation, at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial of Cremains:  Wofford Cemetery.

Survived By:

Daughter:  Ann Sartain, Crestwood, Kentucky

Granddaughter:  Kimberly Sartain Thompson, LaGrange, KY.

Grandson:  Douglas Sartain, Huntsville, AL.

Died:  Wednesday, May 29, 2019, in the Generations of Vernon, in Vernon, Lamar County, Alabama.

Visitation:  1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Freewill Chapel Church.

Service:  3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, following visitation at the church.

Officiating:  Bro. Leon Barnes, Bro. Arnold Sheets and Bro. Jerry Smith.

Burial:  Wofford Cemetery.

Sulligent, AL – Mason Douglas Franklin, age 24, of Sulligent, Alabama passed away Monday, September 25th, 2017 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Visitation, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 29th, 2017 at Otts Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.  Funeral service, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at Otts Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial in Wofford Cemetery.

Mason was born June 29, 1993, in Winfield, Alabama to Robert Gene Franklin and Kim Renea Ballard.  He was a 2012 Graduate of Sulligent High School and a 2015 Graduate of Bevil State Community College in Hamilton, Alabama.  He presently worked for AT&T in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He enjoyed playing his Playstation, weight lifting, and was an avid LSU fan.  Mason loved being with his friends and spending time at the beach.

Sulligent, AL – Ms. Linda Otts Reeves, age 65 of Sulligent, Alabama, passed away Monday, July 14th, 2014, in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, Alabama.

Visitation, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 16th, 2014, at Norwood Funeral Home in Sulligent, Alabama.  Funeral service, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 17th, 2014, at the Sulligent First Assembly of God Church.  Bro. Jerry Oaks and Bro. Ed Puckett officiating.  Burial in the Wofford Cemetery.

Ms. Otts was born March 18th, 1949 in Sulligent, Alabama to Willie Mae Black Otts and the late Clifford Lamar Otts.  She had lived in Sulligent most of her life. She loved working in her flowers, gardening, and caring for her family and grandchildren.  She was a member of the Sulligent First Assembly of God Church, had worked for Reltoc, and had retired from the Lunch Room in Sulligent.

She is survived by her husband, Brock Reeves; 2 sons, Farris (Kim) Reeves, and David Reeves; her mother, Willie Mae Otts Barnes; 2 grandsons, Landon Brock Reeves and Luke Banks Reeves; one brother, Ricky (Sharon) Otts; all of Sulligent, AL., and a host of nieces and nephews, other friends and relatives.
