Jewel Marie Cantrell Cole, age 66, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the Marion Regional Nursing Home in Hamilton, Alabama.
Visitation 12:30 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Marion County Funeral Home, Hamilton, Alabama. Funeral service, to follow visitation, at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Bro. Wayne Mays and Josh Stark officiating. Burial in Hodges Cemetery, Hodges Alabama. Pallbearers, Josh Stark, Devon Cole, Chace Akers, Jesse Shotts, Channing Haithcock and Chad Thomas.
Ms. Cole was born in Hodges, Alabama, May 30, 1945, to Aaron Felix “Daze” and Shellie Belle Williams Cantrell.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Tammy Cole (Donald) Logan; 1 son, Clay Stanley (Deborah) Cole; 5 grandchildren, April, Josh, Shellie, Devon, Jesse; 7 great-grandchildren, Kyla, Maddie, Trennon, Peyton Jewel, Joe, Annslee, Joshlynn; 3 sisters, Joann (Wayne) Williams, Judy Haithcock, Wanda Watson; 1 brother, Johnny Ray Cantrell; a host of nieces, nephews and special friend Jewel McCarley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron Felix “Daze” and Shellie Belle Cantrell.
Marion County Funeral Home, Hamilton, AL., assisted the family.
